The experience of a boxer came to light pretty quickly, as Nil broke the nose of one of his attackers with a quick one-two. He was pulling his punches. As somebody who saw him fighting to the death, I knew immediately.

The next one tried to get him from the side, but Sanders would circle to always have at least one side covered by the crowd, and he wasn't shy to get between the people to avoid a hit, even if somebody else would get it instead.

He didn't allow himself to get grappled, even when one of them tried to tackle him. He jumped slightly and crushed the guy's face with his knee, as soon as the man went a bit lower while charging.

He was overwhelming them, so one grabbed a knife, and swung it. Nil avoided. The crowd started booing as until now the fight was just kicks and punches. The pressure was so big, the weapon ended up thrown on the cobblestone.

The process created an opening, and Sanders just went for it, delivering a solid jab to his opponent's face

- C'mon guys. That's all you have? I'm fucking drunk, and there are four of you. Ha ha!

There were no answers, except one, who growled at him. He was turned with his back to me, so I couldn't see his eyes, but what happened next, makes me believe they became yellow. The man went on his knees, grunting, and suddenly his body started to transform, reaping clothes apart. Two more, like on a signal, did the same, and soon Nil was facing three, brown-furred beasts. The one guy remained human but pulled out a knife.

Most bystanders just bolted one by one, and the rest backed away. One of the werewolves just launched itself at Sanders. The monster was fast, but still, he avoided the claws, and a bite right after. Then the second came, and Nil found himself in a bit of trouble handling both of them. He was moving at his top speed, avoiding mainly, rarely swinging at them. his punches landed, but the effects, even when he really tried, were quickly healing up.

Maybe if he had a weapon, this would look different, but he didn't, and when the third beast joined, after circling around him, to get from behind, Nil got struck with claws through his back. Next was supposed to be a bite, but Will jumped into action, falling from the air punched the beast straight to the face like a damn superhero. There was a loud 'wham' sound, and the werewolf ended knocked down on the cobblestone.

- You really want to die?! - yelled the man with a knife.

Nadia tugged on my sleeve, I looked at her.

- You should help - she said.

I immediately noticed that she was nervous about this whole situation, so I nodded and moved towards them with my hands in the pocket. When the distance was right I used Shadow walk to appear between them.

- Pick you guy, and go home. Fighting among ourselves is pointless - I said to the guy with a knife.

He swallowed his spin nervously, fixing the grip on his weapon. Werewolfs growled at me, lowering themselves like they wanted to jump at me.

- If you attack me, ill kill you, so think it through before you go...

Behind me, Will started to heal Sanders.

- They started this! So we will finish!

- No. The finishing one will be me. I don't care what you guys think about yourselves, but Will behind me is more than enough to pitch slap you out of existence, and I would rather not see that, as my girlfriend doesn't like violence, so just back off.

- Do you even know who we are?! We work with Blue! He won't just take this!

- If Blue would see you fighting in the middle of the city, he would kick your assess himself. So be so kind to fuck off before you get yourself in more trouble.

- He started this! This shithead picked a fight and now should pay for it!

- Maybe he did pick this fight, or maybe not. I don't really care. If it's his mistake, I'm sure Boris will handle this, just as sure I am Blue will handle your side, but if you won't back off, and try to attack them, I won't just stand and watch. You will be dead before you land on this cobblestone - I tapped with my feet on the stone bricks.

Werewolves growled and looked at each other. They seemed more primal than in their human form, but still not mindless monsters. They obviously could think logically as they didn't jump on me from the get-go.

- Fine - he drawled through his teeth. - But we will remember this.

- Cool. No, go home.

I didn't move until they backed down, changing back to their original forms. Their clothes were shredded, but they didn't care. Will took care of Nil, as they did of their guy. He was breathing, but unconscious. In strangely good shape after receiving that punch, probably thanks to his regeneration.

Then we parted our ways. All of us headed back to the city center, and Blue's guys in a different direction. I had no idea if they did that because of us, or were really heading somewhere.

- Did you plan this? - Nadia asked me suddenly.

- Uhm... Yeah. We had to find something out.

- You could have told me. I would prepare mentally for it...

- Actually, they were supposed to handle it by themselves, but I just saw them heading to Lotus, and thought that they might need a backup.

- You still could tell me, Peter.

- Sorry...

She sighed, more disappointed than angry.

- Next time, I will definitely tell you.

- It's ok. I know you had good intentions.

- Yeah, Peter. Thanks for that - said Nil.

- They would keep fighting if it would be just us - Will agreed.

- You guys were more than enough to handle them.

- Yes, but we would have to beat them up, and with you, they just backed down. That's a better outcome - said Sanders.

- We should talk about this with Hatta. He should know as soon as possible. Boris too.

- I'll tell Hatta. Nil, you go to Boris. And you two, lovebirds, have a good night yourselves.

- Thank you, Will. You have yourself also a good night, and you too Nil - replied Nadia.

We split then, as the two of us went to barracks, and they did just as they said, went to inform others.

I wanted to spend the night with her, but as she was a bit bitter about what happened, we ended up in our separate rooms. I guess I should have really informed her beforehand.

The day came to an end with 3 067 401 points remaining on my account.
