"You're able to cause the star that contains the Light Transcendent Art to descend?" Li Luo was shocked beyond words.

Jiang Qing'e's words were unbelievable. Perhaps those who were more on the ordinary side would never think this way.

Jiang Qing'e smiled. "Others might not be able to, but I can. My connection with the light is incredibly pure and thus, I can sense the Light Transcendent Art. I can feel that there is something in the sky that my light resonance thirsts for. This is something that I've never felt before. I feel that only a true Light Transcendent Art can elicit such a feeling."

She then explained patiently, "My resonance works both ways. The Light Transcendent Art is eager to reveal its radiance to the world, and if I can strengthen my connection with it, it is possible for the star that contains it to break away from the rules within the Celestial Mirror Pagoda that are binding it."

A thought cto mind when Li Luo heard these words. He closed his eyes, and the resonant palaces within him roared.

A few moments later, he opened his eyes in disappointment. "It doesn't seem like there are any hidden Transcendent Arts that resonate with me. Do they think that my three palaces and six resonances are inferior?"

Jiang Qing'e smiled sweetly and replied, "Perhaps there aren't any Transcendent Arts here that fit your resonances."

Her method was more extrand their paths were different. She only possessed light resonances and thus was exceptionally compatible with a Light Transcendent Art. As a result, she could feel a connection.

Li Luo shrugged. He wasn't particularly interested in other Transcendent Arts anyway. After all, he possessed the Myriad Resonances Dragon Fang Sword Formation, an Embryonic Transcendent Art that greatly suited him. He had already condensed the fourth Dragon Fang Sword, which chould rival an upper Destiny-grade Duke Art. If he could reach make the fifth Dragon Fang Sword, then he would finally experience for himself the incredible power of an Embryonic Transcendent Art.

Furthermore, once he resolved the issue of his fourth blank palace, he would be able to condense an even greater number of Dragon Fang Swords and the Myriad Resonances Dragon Fang Sword Formation would truly step into the ranks of an actual Transcendent Art.

"Li Luo, guard me. I'm going to draw the star in," Jiang Qing'e said. She then formed seals quickly with both hands and her Archaic Runes gathered between her eyebrows, immediately emanating a holy air. Their light was blinding, giving Jiang Qing'e the appearance of a divine goddess.

Li Luo drew the Dragon Elephant Thunder Blade, and boundless amounts of resonant power surged from his body.

At this time, stars once again started descending from the sky and sof the peak experts were planning to seize opportunities for themselves. However, Jiang Qing'e's suspicious actions inevitably attracted ssuspicious looks.

This didn't last for long though. They suddenly felt worldly natural energy be roused throughout the skies and the entire thirty-third layer started shaking.

Surprised gazes were directed above as they could sense the source of the disturbance.

They could see a gigantic star hanging high in the firmament, gradually leaving its original position to descend downwards.

This star was much more majestic than the ones that had fallen so far. Additionally, boundless amounts of sacred light flowed around it, making it look like a miniature sun. The scorchlight drove away the darkness of the world.

Sheng Qiao'er, Zhou Jun, Song Jing, Lin Ju, and the rest of the upper eighth-grade Dukes were taken aback. Everything else looked dim and dusky in comparison to the light of this star.

Just what sort of wondrous opportunity was contained within this sun?

A moment later, everyone's breathing turned haggard and heavy as two words popped into their minds.

Everyone knew that the thirty-third layer of the Celestial Mirror Pagoda hid such a legacy. However, it could only be encountered and not forced. In the last few hundred years, no one was fortunate enough to find one. No one had thought that someone would be this lucky today.

That said... the light energy emanating from the star was overly dense. This meant that this Transcendent Art was a light resonance one.

Thoughts ran through everyone's minds before their gazes turned towards Jiang Qing'e. Her Archaic Runes were currently glowing with holy light, and as the star fell, it only burned ever more brightly!

The rest sucked in a breath of cold air when they realized the implications.

The hidden Light Transcendent Art had actually been forced by Jiang Qing'e to descend! Was that even possible?

While everyone was in complete disbelief, one particular individual had an uncertain expression.

Diwu Mingxuan.

Diwu Mingxuan's expression had turned solemn. He had already known of this particular star as his teacher, the Radiant King, had found it many years ago in the thirty-third layer. In fact, he had even left a strand of his aura on it. When Diwu Mingxuan arrived in the Celestial Mirror Pagoda, his most important goal was to utilize the strand of aura, locate the star, and attract it. However, he had never expected that before he could even take action, Jiang Qing'e would discover it.

He needed to borrow the aid of his teacher's aura, while she had used her own abilities to resonate with the star.

This sort of talent was truly worth lamenting over.

This was the plaque bestowed upon him by his teacher, Qi Huang, the Radiant King. With the plaque in hand, he respectfully clasped his hands together and bowed, chanting something. A few moments later, the plaque began to bloom with majestic light that pierced through the sky, connecting itself to the falling star of light. Diwu Mingxuan planned to use the plaque to imprint his aura onto the star before it descended.

His sudden actions had also shocked the other experts present. They understood that he had similarly set his sights on the Light Transcendent Art.

Clearly, Diwu Mingxuan had cprepared.

He then took in a deep breath, turning towards Song Jing beside him. "Mentor Song Jing, I'll have to as for your help here."

Song Jing lightly flapped the crimson fan into his palm, which casually sent out a heat wave, and he smirked. "Mingxuan, since you've asked, how could I possibly say no? I'll do my best."

Diwu Mingxuan was the Radiant King's disciple and would likely beca King in the future. Song Jing had known him for many years and understood his potential.

"Helpdisrupt Jiang Qing'e. Don't let her cin contact with the Star of Light before I do," Diwu Mingxuan calmly said.

With so much at stake, everything was permitted. The battle over the Laws had always been cruel and merciless.

Song Jing didn't find the request surprising. "Acting here will offend two Transcendents."

Diwu Mingxuan nodded. "I'll naturally deal with any retribution."

Song Jing grinned and vigorously waved his fan. Fire materialized between the heavens and the earth, eventually transforming into a sweeping prairie inferno that swept towards Jiang Qing'e.

As the crimson flames danced and spread towards her, three Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfrieds soared into the sky. At the stime, the void shattered and a black dragon spewing out frigid water emerged, colliding with the flames.

The void shook violently and energy raged.

Energy gradually dissipated and Song Jing stepped forward, striding towards Jiang Qing'e. However, a handsyoung man with a head of grayish-white hair and body as upright as a pine tree obstructed his path. He was gripping his mottled sword tightly and his gaze was filled with an icy sharpness. Li Luo was here.

His merciless eyes were set on Song Jing as he indifferently said, "Song Jing, don't interfere in things that don't involve you."

Song Jing gave a soft smile as he lightly fanned himself. "Li Luo, I was entrusted by someone to take action, so how can I step back here? Furthermore, can you, a piddly third-grade Transcendent, stop me?"
