Ariana looked at him calmly and after a while, she said, “He wasn’t feeling well so he left. You won’t

find him here.”

face looked sincere as she took out her phone, but she was actually nervous. She didn’t think Jasper

would call her bluff.

Maybe he’ll be home soon.”

“No, don’t bother him.” Ariana felt a lump in her throat and immense sadness in her heart.

Today was Theodore’s birthday. What else would he do except celebrate his birthday with Helen?
