"Um..." Noah muttered, uncertain of that situation. Was he supposed to take the expert seriously? It was a general understanding that tier 3's could never really hurt tier 4's.
Even Noah with how spectacular he was required a breakthrough to actually touch such existences.
"Yes, young man. I want you to test your strength on me. I desire to gauge your power," the knight reassured.
Madison and Bon faced Noah at that point. His arms were now usable he simply liked that position.
Grunting as he straightened his position to sit in that water, Noah went serious for a second while considering the man's words.
"As a knight, I ask you of this. Please allow it. I'll be indebted to you," The knight bowed before them. His armor clinked as he made that gesture.
Noah was left with a hard decision. Still, he saw no reason to refuse the expert. He couldn't hurt him, to begin with. It was even a plus to him.
"We saw your battle with them and had an argument concerning the power you possess. I claimed that none of us had that type of strength," Another of the knights stepped forward. Unashamed by the admission of Noah's power.
A smile bloomed on Aiden's face at that point.
'Well if that's what they want then I'll give it,' a smug expression threatened to appear on his face. But he stopped it.
Noah gestured at Madison and she let him stand.
"Okay. Let's do this," He smiled.
Noah stood once again at one side of the court. His gaze was light but his attention was unwavering.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtHis eyes were set on the shiny armored individual standing right at the center of the court.
Noah's instincts were sharp. But even before that man who potentially had great power, he could not sense an ounce of an aura.
Tier 4s were on a level his senses could not reach if they didn't allow it.
"Ready when you are," The knight's voice swept the court and reached the individuals on the outside.
Madison had never felt so excited since she arrived there. Even she instantly knew that the full prowess Aiden was capable of would be on full display. It was a sight she would never want to miss.
Bon was silent he simply felt curious as to what the outcome of the event would be. Everyone knew tier 3's could never hurt a tier 4.
Noah furrowed his brows as he bent his knees slightly. He knew he couldn't beat the man. Still, he would give it his best. He would attack him with the intention of bringing him down.
Taking in a deep breath, the wind around him rushed towards his figure bringing all attention to him.
Noah felt air rush through his body, he would, first of all, try attacking with only the base power of his body.
He had already chosen not to execute any techniques. At least for the initial part of the test.
He wanted to simply rely on the general abilities training under the Roiling thunder technique had made available.
He eventually moved.
Having mapped out a series of movements, Noah made sure to follow them as closely as he could.
His figure disappeared from his position. Madison and Bon instantly lost the ability to follow his movements.
The tier 4's however found surprise appear on their faces hidden by their helmets. His movements were weird but also rapid. Too rapid for someone his level.
Noah's figure had left the sound barrier intact due to the bracelet, but his acceleration made him invisible to the weaker eyes.
Thanks to the solidness of the barrier around the court, he could quite literally use it as a wall.
And that's what he did.
Noah ran, flipped, jumped, and did all sorts of things to bounce back and forth from one side of the court to the other.
Madison and Bon still couldn't see him, at least that was until his figure flickered before the shiny figure like a ghost, and his fist connected with the man's chest piece.
The sound of metal crashing against metal erupted forth at that point, as the wind barreled out in all directions due to the might he had unleashed in that instant.
'Damn,' Noah voiced inwardly feeling pain rushing to his mind. The man felt like a steel wall. Unmoveable.
His fist had suffered from the attack but he understood that he had unleashed more power than most spells.
The average peak stage tier 3 would either be dead or not too far from it.
Even Madison agreed that he had truly thrown a punch.
Nevertheless, the long-term stood, unmoved by the entire ordeal
The experts stayed silent for the few seconds Noah left his fist on his chest.
Noah even pulled back, but with more determination burning in his being.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"That was impressive. More than I expected. Your strength truly is something else," The expert admitted. But Noah had already stopped listening.
He jumped backward a few times before settling for a random spot on the court.
A buzzing sound unfolded in the world at that point. Deep yellow sparks began to materialize soon after.
Noah was going to use a portion of his empowerment, but in a way, he had not done it in a long long while. He was going to push his skin and bones to their very limits.
Noah took another breath in. This time his actions brought about more sparks.
His target watched with an amused gaze. Noah looked like he was pulling out the big guns. And he was.
Heat unfolded in the world as he bent his knees for the second time that session.
At this point, his surroundings were drenched with sparks. He wished he had a normal weapon he could reveal. But it would most likely crumble.
Time seemed to stop flowing before Noah's eyes as he finally took a step forward.
The sound barrier remained intact as a large portion of his acceleration's effects were nullified by the bracelet.
Noah's sprint generated a long streak that silently crossed the court to arrive before the shiny knight.
A high-pitched explosion rang. Far more powerful than the first. Noah had struck the expert's chest with his fist again, but only this time with both.
His attacks caused the air to grow dense and turn misty before washing over the court due to the force he released.
Noah watched three long and glowing cracks open on the very fabric of both his arms.
Unimaginable pain.
Nevertheless, his sacrifice had not been for naught. He had managed to push the expert back by one step.
Astonishment was in the air.
