Chapter 955 You Are Thinking Too Little
Jenny and Alec had chosen the restaurant and had already taken their seats. They were
waiting for Stephanie and Leonard to arrive.
"By the way, did Leonard agree to come?" Jenny suddenly remembered to ask Alec. If
Leonard didn’t, their efforts would have been in vain.
Alec glanced at her and chuckled helplessly, "Do you have so little confidence in me? Do
you think I can't handle him?"
Although Leonard had an unyielding personality and was not easily manipulated by others,
Alec understood men to a certain extent.
In terms of interests, Alec offered something Leonard would find hard to refuse. In terms of
romance, Stephanie was there, giving him less reason to refuse Alec's invitation.
Just then, Leonard appeared at the entrance of the restaurant. To Jenny's surprise,
Stephanie arrived with him. The sight of them made Jenny smile instantly, wondering if it

Jenny waved at the two of them, gesturing for them to come over and sit down. Stephanie
sat next to Jenny, while Leonard naturally sat next to Alec.
The two men didn't say much, just nodded at each other in greeting.
"Did you come together?" Jenny asked. She was curious as Leonard didn't need to drive
past the Walker family's place if he had come from the police station.
Stephanie glanced at Leonard, who said, "I went to pick Stephanie up."
Jenny was surprised. She had intended to matchmake these two, but looking at the
situation, it seemed there was no need for her to do that.
"Mr. Sullivan, you really care about Stephanie," Jenny commented with a grin, and her
words could not be more direct.
Stephanie hurriedly waved her hand and explained, "You are thinking too much. Leonard
just wanted to catch up with me regarding our other classmates, so he came to pick me
up."
Leonard smiled faintly and kept quiet. He said to Jenny," Just call me Leonard. You are
Stephanie's friend, and any friend of Stephanie's is a friend of mine."
Jenny grinned. Did Stephanie think that Jenny was thinking too much? Perhaps Stephanie
was the one thinking too little.
After placing their order, the four of them began to chat. Jenny asked Leonard many
questions as she wanted to understand what kind of person he was and whether he was
worth Stephanie's affection. The more she got to know him, the more satisfied she was
with Leonard, and it showed through the stupid grin on her face.
Seeing through her, Stephanie blushed in embarrassment.
Pulling Jenny up, she announced, "You guys carry on. Jenny and I will go to the restroom."
Without waiting for Jenny to speak, she pulled her toward the restroom.
After the two of them left, the table suddenly fell silent.

between the two men.
However, Alec had come to meet Leonard today for a reason. "Mr. Sullivan, have you ever
thought about your future?"
Leonard looked at him and said, "Of course. If I hadn't thought about it, I wouldn't have
agreed when you invited me, Mr. Faust." Alec had been looking for him, and he had some
guesses as to why.
"That's not necessarily true. Since you knew that Stephanie would be here, wouldn't you
come even if I didn't?"
Before that, it had only been a hunch. However, from their interactions over dinner, it was
clear that Leonard was interested in Stephanie. Truth be told, it had nothing to do with
Alec, and he was even happy for them.
However, at the thought of his friend Paul, he decided he should stand by him.
