Chapter 950 Must You Talk About That Right Now?
"She's Jenny Walter. A friend of mine.' Christopher introduced her without elaborating, not
wanting Alexandra to know too much.
A friend?
A woman's intuition was always accurate. Alexandra could tell from the look in
Christopher's eyes that he treated Jenny differently. Although they weren't doing anything
out of line, she felt threatened.
"Hello, I am Christopher's girlfriend, Alexandra.” Alexandra reached out her hand to Jenny
and smiled sweetly.
Although Jenny was surprised that Christopher had a girlfriend, she didn't ask any
questions. She felt it was good that he had a girlfriend around him so he wouldn't be too
sad.
She reached out and shook hands with Alexandra. "Hello."
"Christopher's friend is my friend too. Let's hang out together in the future," Alexandra
said.
Jenny nodded and said, "Then I'll go first."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Okay." Christopher nodded and watched her leave.
After she left, Alexandra looked at Christopher and asked, "She's from the Walter family,
right?"
There weren't many people with the surname Walter in Bardoff City, so her guess couldn't
be far off. Although Christopher ignored her, Alexandra remained very invested in the
topic. "Is she the current head of the Walters? N
The average person didn't know much about the Walter family's affairs, but those from
bigger families like them knew quite a bit.
Christopher turned to look at her, his expression cold. "Must you talk about that right
now?"
His grandfather had just passed away, so he wasn't in the mood to talk about anything
else. He just wanted to send him off properly.
Alexandra covered her mouth and knew she had crossed the line. "Sorry, I was just
curious."
"Curiosity killed the cat." Christopher's tone was cold, but that was all he said.
He understood Alexandra well. Given that she had been spoiled and pampered by her
family since she was a child, she had no empathy for others. While she appeared sad, he
knew she wasn't really upset.
However, he wasn't concerned about that. After all, he was sure Harvey wouldn't want
others to be sad over him. Nonetheless, Alexandra shouldn't be asking so many irrelevant
questions.
He sent Alexandra off, refusing to let her remain in the hospital. Then, he began to make
arrangements for his grandfather's funeral.
Jenny returned to the doctor's office with Harvey's words still in her mind. Then, she called
her father to tell him about the news she had just received, which might help them find
her mother.
The call quickly connected, but Graham seemed busy on the other end." What's wrong,
Jenny? Did something happen?"
"No, I just want to ask if you've made any progress," Jenny said.
"I guess so. I found someone from the past," Graham said. He was on his way to meet that
person.
Jenny was surprised that he managed to find the person from a decades- old picture. She

thinking, since Mother was willing to leave with those people, does that mean she knew
them?"
"Perhaps." Graham agreed because he also thought so too.
"Is it possible that those people are her family?" Jenny made a bold guess. According to
what Harvey said, she thought it was very likely.
Perhaps Lynette had escaped from her family but was found by the family members after
giving birth to Jenny.
Graham fell silent, seeming to be deep in thought. After a while, he finally replied, "That's
not impossible, but if she's from a big family, I would have known."
He had a photo of Jenny's mother and her name. Given his abilities and connections,
finding anyone in the country would be very easy. However, he didn't gain any clues over
all the years.
"So there are only two possibilities, either someone is hiding her. Or, she was just an
ordinary person. Perhaps she's someone from a small village, and that's why we can't find
her," Jenny said.
