Chapter 934 You Win, Let Her Go
"What do you mean, sir? The Watkins were the ones responsible for your son's death. I'm
sure both evidence and the law will agree," Alec said, still polite. No way would he admit
to having killed Xavier now.
"Whether it was you or the Watkins, I'm sure we all know the truth of the matter. So, it's
pointless to try and argue the specifics."
"Do you mean to avenge your son today, then, sir?" Alec asked.
Zeke frowned, noticing how fearless Alec seemed. It was almost as if he didn't care that he
was going to die.
But that was impossible, right? There was no one alive who wouldn't be scared of dying.

Alec snorted, picking the gun up and fiddling with it. "You really think I'd die for Jenny
Walter?’
The safety on the gun pressed against Jenny's temple was swiftly turned off. Alec's
expression fell along with the ensuing sound.
God, he was so scared right now.
Even if the Fausts wouldn't be able to handle revenge from the Walters, it didn't mean Alec
was ready to risk Jenny dying.
With a helpless chuckle, Alec raised the gun, turning off the safety. "Alright. You win. Let
her go."
"You don't have the right to negotiate with me right now, Alec Faust," Zeke shot out coldly.
Alec met his expression with an equally cold glare. "Really. How do I know you won't hurt
her once I kill myself, then?"
"You don’t need my guarantee. I have no qualms with the Walters nor with Jenny herself.
Unless you force my hand, of course."
No use pissing off the Walters if Alec died on the spot.
But if he refused to, well.
Yet Alec had never liked being at the whims of someone else. He checked the gun barrel,
then swiftly pointed the nozzle at Zeke's forehead.
A swarm of bodyguards immediately ran out, pointing their guns at Alec.

today, shall we?"
He was confident he could kill the old man before anyone even pressed their triggers. His
only regret would be that he couldn't save Jenny.
Alec met Jenny's gaze, seeing how fearless she was right now. Evidently, she had faith in
Alec's decision. She even smiled at Alec, signaling his trust in him.
Right before anyone could press their triggers, another group of men swarmed around
Zeke's guards. Leading them was Evan himself, who glared at Zeke and barked out, "Let
Jenny go."
Zeke eyed him, having realized he had underestimated the young man. At most, he only
imagined Evan would marry into the Walters.
Looks like he was a far more complicated character than that.
