Chapter 930 Do as I Tell You
There were no cameras at that corner, so Jenny wouldn't know what happened exactly
based on the footage alone. She then left for that location, ready to find any clues leading
her to figure out what happened.
Unfortunately, she found nothing. There was nowhere to hide behind that corner, nor were
there any signs of struggle. It was as if Stephanie disappeared into thin air.
Jenny went back to the footage, determined to find some clues. Sure enough, she soon
noticed a specific van leaving the area.
It had stopped by the sidewalk just before Stephanie walked around the corner, then left a
little after she disappeared down it. No other person or car has come or left from that
corner since.
Jenny sent the car plate number to Melissa, who quickly reported that the vehicle attached

down.
But Jenny didn’t plan on giving up. She returned to the footage, rewatching the van and
memorizing its features. She'd find it no matter what.
Just then, her phone rang.
It was a stranger's number, which Jenny swiftly hung up on. She wasn’t in the mood to be
the victim of a sales pitch.
But the stranger soon called again as if determined to have her answer it. With a sigh,
Jenny picked it up.
"Lost a friend, Miss Jenny Walter?” someone said over the phone before Jenny could say
anything.
Their voice was old and scratchy—familiar, yet Jenny couldn't for the life of her recall who
it belonged to.
"What did you do to Stephanie?" Jenny asked coldly.
The man only said, "I've sent you an address. Do come over ASAP."
Jenny scoffed. ’If your target was me, why bother going to this length?"
Abducting Stephanie? Really?
“This was one of the safest ways for us, Miss Walter." Forcefully abducting Jenny would
cause too great a commotion, not something that would help their cause for the time
being.
On the other hand, Stephanie was far easier to use in manipulating Jenny. Hence, she was
their ideal choice.
Jenny hissed. "Where is she? You touch so much as one strand of her hair, and I promise
you your life will be living h-"
"Your friend is alright, miss. Though I advise you to come as soon as you can, or I can't
promise something won't happen to your friend.” The man then hung up, not even

After all, she wouldn't dare make the wrong move with Stephanie's life at risk.
Jenny got into a cab and headed straight for the location sent to Stephanie's phone. She
had to go, even as those abductors must've set a trap for her.
Jenny kept on trying to guess who those bunch of people might be. Who in Bardoff City
would dare do that to her?
It couldn't be Blake, could it?
That voice on the phone was so familiar, though...
Where had she heard it from?
Just then, Paul called her number, absolutely panicked after not having found any trace of
Stephanie.
Jenny decided to call him. "Paul Wagner, if you want to help me find Stephanie, do as I tell
you."
