Chapter 901 If I've Done Something Wrong Before
He hugged her tightly. "Why are you so good to me, Janet?’
"Am I really that good?" Janet wasn't so sure. No one had ever called her good before.
"Of course. You're the best girl I've ever met." Zack nodded vigorously. Why else would he
love her so much?
Janet opened her mouth, wanting to say something. However, she lacked the courage to
do so. "Well, what if one day you find out that I've done something wrong before? Would
you forgive me?"
"What could you possibly do wrong? They're just small matters. I wouldn't care." He loved
Janet for who she was now. It had nothing to do with her past.
It didn’t matter if Zack had lied. His words calmed Janet considerably.
At least, this was a man who truly loved her.

The next day in the hospital, Jenny went to the ward and found that both the girl and the
woman were not there.
She hurriedly went to the head nurse and learned they had left the hospital yesterday
afternoon. She grew weak in the knees. 'Why were they discharged? Didn't I say I would
handle the procedures today?"
"They looked to be in a hurry. They went to the director, and he handled it forthem," the
head nurse said.
Jenny was panicking. "Is there any way that I can contact them?"
It was so hard for her to find hope. Jenny didn't want to give up that easily.
"We only have her husband's number, but I've dialed it before. No one picked up." The
head nurse gave her the number.
Jenny nodded and left, taking the number with her.
It wasn't just ignored. This time, the phone was shut off-she couldn't contact them.
She sighed and went back to her office.
She wanted to comfort herself, saying that was how life was. But then, fate had brought
her to them. Wasn't that part of life, too?
She made her decision.
She got Melissa to find the woman for her. Melissa's contacts were growing. It wasn't hard
for her to find someone now.
Jenny could also make Alfred find her, but it wouldn't be convenient for him. It was better
for Melissa to do it. After all, Jenny established the bar so that she could do things like this.
The whole day, Jenny waited for Melissa's news. She was distracted. Thankfully, there
wasn't much for her to do that day. The surgeries were all scheduled for the next day, and
Bardoff Hospital had other doctors for surgeries. There were quite a number of
neurosurgeons there, and it wouldn't matter too much if she asked for a few days' worth of
leave.
After work, she received Alfred’s call. The apartment was ready for viewing.
She wasn't expecting Melissa to be the one to take her to the apartment.
"Alfred told me to take you to the apartment." Melissa jingled the keys in her hand,
beckoning Jenny to follow her.
Jenny nodded, at the same time bewildered. "Why did he tell you to come?" "You wanted
to find out about that woman this morning, didn’t you? I wanted to come to see you
anyway to talk about it. When Alfred knew, he got me to take you to the apartment,"
Melissa said.
Melissa didn't go into too much detail, but Jenny was no fool. 'You seem to be on good
terms with Alfred."
"We're...we're okay." Melissa blushed.
Jenny understood at once. She smiled. "That's understandable. Alfred is indeed a genius.
He's a capable man."
