Chapter 900 Currying Favor
Gilbert sent Jenny home. When she saw the massive garden, for some reason, Jenny felt
lonely.
Afterward, she called Alfred and asked him to help her buy an apartment near the hospital
so she could easily travel to and fro.
After Graham left, Jenny lived there alone. In such a big place, she was not happy at all. In
fact, she couldn't get used to it.
She hadn't made up her mind about moving yet, but today, she had.
She wasn't worried about Walter Castle. There was a butler to keep things running, and it
wouldn't go to ruins. Jenny would only consider moving back if Graham came back. She
didn't like living in such a big place alone.
After washing up, Jenny lay in her bed. She wanted to be at the hospital early tomorrow to

hospital.
In a daze, Jenny quickly fell asleep. It was then that Gilbert reached his villa.
Zack had just reached Bardoff City and had not found a place to stay yet. Hence, Zack and
Janet would stay temporarily in Gilbert’s villa.
Gilbert didn't think much of it. The villa had many rooms, and they wouldn't take up too
much space. He went into the living room.
"Gilbert," Janet said as she walked out of the kitchen. She was wearing a nightgown.
Although it wasn't revealing, Gilbert still felt uncomfortable since they were not familiar
with each other.
"It's late. You should sleep." Gilbert went upstairs.
Janet called out to him hurriedly, "Hold on."
Gilbert looked back at her. "I made Zack some soup. Would you like some?"
"I didn't drink,’ Gilbert replied. Then, he disappeared from her sight.
It was then that Janet remembered that Gilbert had sent Jenny home. He probably hadn't
drunk any alcohol. She’d spent a large part of her night eating with her head lowered and
hadn't noticed.
She felt a little guilty. She shouldn't have asked him that.
She sighed. Perhaps because of her fear of Jenny and Gilbert refusing to accept her, she
became somewhat of a suckup when faced with them.
She knew that people would look down on her for doing that, but Zack was someone who
treated her the best in all her years. She truly wanted to be with him.
But then...when she thought of all the things she had done before, she couldn't help
frowning. Would they support her being with Zack if they knew what she had done?

After coming of age, she wanted to escape her family and live a good life. Hence, she tried
taking a few shortcuts, but they never worked.
Perhaps the Heavens still favored her somewhat. She met Zack.
Right now, what she wanted most was to win over his heart completely. She would not let
go, no matter what.
She brought the soup to Zack's room.
He had just taken a shower and was walking out of the bathroom. When he saw her, he
asked, "Why were you gone for so long? I said there was no need to make it. I'm not even
drunk."
"You'll get a headache tomorrow if you don't drink it," she said, handing him the bowl of
soup.
He had no choice but to take it. ’You never complain about getting tired." "I'm not tired at
all. For you. I'll never be tired." Janet smiled at him, stirring his heart. He gulped it all down
at once and cradled her in his chest.
