Chapter 1101 When Did You Find Out?
Three days later, Jenny and Evan stood at the entrance of Bardoff Airport. After listening in
to Evan's conversations with others for the past few days, Jenny had already learned
everything about the situation, but even so, she didn't go back on her word and said she
wouldn't go abroad. Instead, she pretended to know nothing and still came to the airport
with Evan.
However, it didn’t mean that she would really board the plane.
In the waiting lounge, half an hour before boarding, Evan wished fervently for time to pass
quickly. Jenny remained indifferent, and Evan couldn't tell any emotions from her face,
making him uneasy.
"Jenny, don't worry. Once we find Dr. Gaarder, I'll cooperate with the treatment and try to
recover as soon as possible, then we can return to the country," Evan said.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJenny smiled lightly at his words. "Evan, you still wont tell me the truth even now?''
She always thought that Evan might not be so bad, and maybe he would come clean with
her. But now, in half an hour, they would be on the plane, and everything would be too
late. Jenny was done giving him chances- she couldn't continue to play along anymore.
"Jenny...what do you mean?" Evan's expression froze as he was taken aback, but it soon
returned to normal. "Do you think I would deceive you?"
"I used to think you wouldn't, but now..." Jenny smiled, thinking what a fool she'd been to
blindly believe him.
The sense of uneasiness grew stronger, and Evan realized that Jenny had probably already
found out about everything. "Jenny, if I really deceived you one day, it would be because I
love you too much."
"Ha!" Jenny couldn't help but laugh sardonically. "Love? You kidnapped me, pretended to
be injured from saving me, and tried to make me feel guilty so I would stay by your side
for the rest of my life!"
Evan's face turned horrifyingly pale. If Jenny hadn't known that his injuries were all fake,
she would have been worried about him.
"Jenny, who told you this? Was it Alec?" Evan tried to keep his panic under control and
added, ‘I know he doesn't want you to take care of me, so he said something to make you
doubt me. I hope you can trust me, Jenny."
"Do you think you still have any credibility now, Evan?" Jenny used to trust him, but
unfortunately, he didn't cherish her trust.
Evan's expression changed slightly. He wasn't stupid, after all. He could tell that Jenny
must have known about everything and had solid evidence.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t refuse to listen to anything he had to say like this.
"Evan, why do you have to do this? Do you know how difficult it is for me?" No matter
what, they had grown up together. Even if they couldn't be together in the future, they

But now...
Jenny couldn't treat him as a friend anymore.
Evan sighed and decided not to keep justifying himself. "When did you find out?"
"The day you suggested I go abroad with you, Alec found me and introduced me to
someone. He was one of your former subordinates." Since the truth was out, Jenny didn't
see the need to hide anything further.
Evan understood and sighed bitterly. "Trey. So Alec managed to pull off whatever he’d
tried to do, after all."
Trey didn't die and ended up confessing to Alec about him. Evan pondered the turn of
events for a moment and realized that sending Howard to kill Trey was probably a mistake.
If Howard hadn't gone to kill him, Trey wouldn't have confessed, and Jenny might still be in
the dark.
He'd been too afraid. As long as Trey was still alive and in Alec's hands, he couldn't
completely relax.
