Austin and Brady were both in shock when they saw the beasts passing by from a distance. They all seemed to have something to

do with Buddhism.

"Fortunately, these terrifying legendary beasts didn't attack us.

Otherwise, we would have been in real danger by now.

Austin was dumbfounded. For the first tin his life and his journey as a cultivator, he faced a situation where none of his skills

cto his aid no matter how hard he tried.

Every this attempts failed, he regretted having broken into this strange mountain region.

black bear sped ahead to catch up with him.

After a while, Austin could even hear the breath of the black bear following right behind him.

After more than an hour of running, the black bear was finally able to catch up with Austin.

With a cold expression in its eyes, the black bear clenched its teeth and hurled a slap forward with a mighty force. The bear's claw

was as big as a small mountain. And its force made an impact on the large patch of the foliage around and its reverberation spread

across several miles.

The mighty claws of the black bear appeared so powerful that it could smash Austin to pieces.

But just as Austin readied himself to counterattack, and was about to transfer Brady and the demonic avatar out of the Slave Tower

so that together they could take the challenge head-on, that black bear suddenly let out a deep roar. Its face revealed an

extremely terrified expression. Unexpectedly, it turned around all of a sudden, and ran away as fast as it could!

It ran and ran with all its might because it realized it had crossed the border it shouldn't have got close to!

Just as the black bear was about to run away, out of the blue, Austin's hair stood on its end. In a bat of an eyelid, he made haste to

move sideways, trying to dodge a killing intent that could scare him.

"Swish!"

A small black dot rushed over from afar at an unprecedented speed, and Austin almost failed to capture it with his spiritual sense.

Austin quickly took out the Pot of Chaos to shield himself from it.

"Bang!"

A large sound could be heard.

Sparks started flying in all directions. Austin's body shook violently to absorb the shock as he was hit severely. The very next

moment, he was stooping down and spitting blood.

The force was way too strong for him to resist.

Even though he took cover behind the Pot of Chaos, he could not save himself completely from the impact. He was badly bruised

with a couple of bones cracked here and there.

No matter what, the force was indeed a menacing one to be able to shake a strong and powerful cultivator like Austin. With all

foliage.

The branch was as thick as a human finger. It seemed to have cfrom the depths of the mountains and forests. It was bearing

the scent of Buddha's law power. Numerous pieces of the law power were flying around the branch.

Wherever it went, it made the entire space to be on the verge of crumbling down. It had a devastating impact.

As Austin braced himself to guard against the branch, he was surprised to find that it bypassed him and rushed ahead towards

somewhere else.

All of a sudden howls of anger could be heard.

Austin was startled to hear the black bear's roar echoing through the forest.

Austin turned around to find out what happened.

He was left aghast by what he saw!

More than ten small branches as thick as the fingers covered with green leaves, exuded a dreadful aura of Buddha's law, were

attacking the black bear.

The branches seemed to have been released from the distant mountains and covered a long distance.

These branches took up a position each and formed an array.

Each of them released bursts of Buddhist light and was surrounded by chanting of meditation, which made them look divine.

The black bear panicked to have been under the siege of more than ten branches.

Needless to say, it was no match for the ten branches put together.

"Howl!"

Soon, the black bear becfurious. It started radiating a black fland its eyes turned red.

"It's burning the blood essence!"

Austin's heart skipped a beat as he noticed the combating stance taken by the black bear. It seemed to be in a do or die situation

where the black bear was ready to fight desperately.

"Whoosh!"

The very next moment...

A thick branch, even thicker than an adult's arm, covered with clusters of green leaves shined across mountains and hills at a

distance.

Slowly, an absolutely surreal scene unraveled in front of Austin's eyes. The thick branch had several small monks sitting cross-

legged on it, chanting Buddhist scriptures. The powerful sound reverberated all across the forest and even touched the souls.

The monks were very small in size, measuring barely as much as a thumb.

The terror on the face of the black bear at the very sight of the monks was inexplicable. All of a sudden, it seemed that it gave up

the idea of fighting and turned around to run away.

Bang! The black bear had an unmatched strength and speed. Yet, it fell short to save it from a dry branch that pierced through its

humongous body. It let out a soul-wrenching cry as blood coozing out profusely from its body.
