All the young cultivators including Austin waited anxiously for the door of the Spiritual Tower to open.
Two hours later, the gate of the tower was pushed opened by an invisible force.
Everyone present watched as the door opened slowly. Their eyes fixed on the small opening in front of them.
The iron door could withstand even the most powerful attacks from ultimate magical treasures. Its towering strength unparalleled
by any other kingdom. It opened every one hundred years and it would close in ten days.
Finally, the door was fully opened.
The young cultivators unleashed their spiritual senses to check what was inside the tower but their attempts were to no avail. A
spiritual force seemed to block any attempt to peek inside the massive doors.
"Let's go!" shouted Stephen who was the Holy Son of the Arcane Holy Land, as he signaled his companions to enter the tower.
He dashed towards the door at full speed.
Upon hearing his order, dozens of disciples from the Arcane Holy Land rushed through the door and disappeared into the tower.
"Let's get inside.
The trial has begun!"
one of the remaining young cultivators shouted.
A multitude of people raced towards the entrance of the tower. Each one wanted to be the first to enter the door.
Austin estimated that there were over forty thousand young men present, eager to explore the Spiritual Tower.
The number of the young cultivators who were going to the tower was equal to the number of disciples in a top sect.
Austin squeezed his way out from the crowd and got into the Spiritual Tower.
As soon as he stepped into the tower, he felt a cold mist caressed his skin. A spatial teleportation power enveloped him and lifted
him off the ground.
Soon, he could feel his feet touching the ground.
As he opened his eyes, he was no longer in that dark room.
He looked around him and realized he was in an endless desert.
Yellow sand could be seen everywhere. Sstayed afloat and danced in the wind's rhythm.
It was dry and extremely hot. He could feel his skin burning from the heat.

Three scorching suns paraded in the sky above him. Each was majestic in its own way, but hostile as it gave off blazing light and
unbearable heat.
Austin was sweating under the glare of the three suns. If he wasn't a cultivator, he would have died of heat stroke the moment he
stepped on to the sand.
He glanced around and did not see any life forms. There was no trees, no plants, herbs. Everything around him was sand.
"So | am on the first floor of the Spiritual Tower?" Austin murmured, as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
At the stime, he felt a strong spiritual sense force approaching him.
The spiritual sense force was trying to influence his spiritual soul.
It was disturbing, and under such occasion, most cultivators would slow down.
However, Austin was a different case. The spiritual tree in his Soul Sea released a power to counteract the spiritual sense force
which was charging at him.
Thanks to the spiritual tree, he could resist a spiritual sense attack ten times more powerful than his own spiritual sense. The
spiritual sense that cfrom his surroundings did not harm a single hair on his head.
Suddenly, a piece of information appeared in Austin's Soul Sea.
"Young men, welcto the Spiritual Tower! This is where your power, strength, skills and determination will be tested. Now, here
are the rules.
There are nine floors in the tower; each of you will have to bear spiritual sense force attack at a different level in each floor.
On the first floor, you will have to stand against the spiritual sense which is stronger than your own spiritual sense.
On the second floor, you will have to endure the spiritual sense which is twice more powerful than your spiritual sense.
Each floor will progress to a more powerful and advanced spiritual sense than the previous floor. Overceach spiritual sense, so
you could move on to the next floor.
On the ninth floor, you will encounter a spiritual sense attack which is nine times more powerful than your spiritual sense.
Magic treasures related to the spiritual sense do not work in the tower.
You cannot use these magic treasures to fight off the spiritual sense force attack.
Every participant needs to defeat the spiritual sense by your own spiritual senses.
You will receive a different test on each floor to prove your worth. When you pass, you will be rewarded.
Your task on the first floor is to take out sand men.
You will get crystals accordingly after you put down sand men of different cultivation base.
There are two teleportation passages on each floor.
One can transport you out of the tower, while the other sends you to the next floor."
Every cultivator in the tower received this message.
After reading the information carefully, Austin had a better knowledge of the test in the Spiritual Tower.
However, he had one question which he could not figure out.
‘According to the rules, any magic treasures related to the spiritual soul will not work in the tower.
But why did my spiritual tree work in fighting off the spiritual sense that attacked me?
It unleashed a power strong enough to counteract the spiritual sense coming at my soul.’
After thinking over it for a moment, he had it figured out.
'The spiritual tree had already fused with my spiritual soul.
To sextent, it now exists as a part of my soul!
Besides, the tree is a living thing. So it isn't a magic treasure.’
"Oh, yeah!"
Austin burst out laughing, delighted with what he just discovered.
He becmore confident that he could pass the tests in the Spiritual Tower.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Young cultivators started to appear in the desert.
Austin decided, it was tto move forward.
As he took two steps, the sand in front of him gathered rapidly and started to rise in the air.
A few seconds later, the sand had formed into a giant man. It was a towering figure and was soon raising its hand to hit Austin.
Austin saw this, and moved aside quickly, dodging the blow.
The giant made of sand was over three meters tall and had a muscular form.

"I see. This is the sand man,"
Austin murmured, observing the sand giant with interest.
'l can feel it. It is as powerful as a cultivator at the premium stage of Emperor Realm, ' he thought.
The sand man let out a scream.
It raised his hand and aimed at Austin again.
After knowing its real strength, Austin did not dodge this time. He raised his hand and punched the sand man with a loud thud.
The sand man exploded and turned into sand. Austin surveyed the surrounding sand thoughtfully.
"It was formed from the sand. Once defeated, it will transform back into sand.
This way, this desert can form infinite sand men, ' Austin analyzed.
Before long, a heap of enlightening crystals dropped in front of him out of nowhere.
He estimated that there were thirty thousand crystals.
'The reward for striking down a sand man at the premium stage of Emperor Realm is thirty thousand enlightening crystals.
It's not an attractive reward
But anyway | will take them, ' he thought, feeling slightly disappointed at the reward.
With a wave of his hand, Austin put the enlightening crystals into his Space Ring.
In a few of moments, another five sand men appeared and surrounded him. They were as huge and as muscular as the first.
Their cultivation base ranged from the preliminary stage of Emperor Realm to the premium stage of Emperor Realm.
Now that he knew their powers, it was child's play for Austin to fight them. He finished them in a breeze, and one by one they
disappeared back into the sand.
The reward for slaying a sand man which was at the preliminary stage of Emperor Realm was ten thousand enlightening crystals.
The reward for taking out a sand man which had the power of the medium stage of Emperor Realm was twenty thousand
enlightening crystals.
Taking care of the sand men was effortless. Austin kept going relying solely on his own spiritual sense.
Along the way, he was attacked by countless sand men which were at the Emperor Realm.
It was a piece of cake. Austin finished them with one slap.
That was the advantage of possessing strong physical power.
As long as his opponent's cultivation base was lower than his, he could beat him to death with one strike.
