Jessica was thrilled as the mine was sold.
The Carter family was the most powerful family in Manskarta. However, there were many problems left unsolved
over the years. What Jessica wanted to do was make things in Manskarta more complicated so that she could find
out the ones that opposed the Carter family and kick them out of Manskarta.
Jessica knew it wasn't easy. But fortunately, there were many friends that wanted the same thing, and they were
not ordinary people. Thus, she had the confidence to get what she wanted.
Nathan invited Jessica and Jade for lunch. He preferred cooking at home and called Wendy to come. Eating with
three beautiful women, Nathan had the feeling that tonight would be fun.
"My family is about to invest in the automobile manufacturing industry. Are you interested, Ms. Giradia?" Jessica
brought it up at the dinner table.
Wendy frowned. "Automobile manufacturing? That is a money-burning industry. The annual research and
development expenses alone are enormous."
Giradia Group indeed had made a lot of money. However, it still couldn't compare with a big giant like the Carter
family. Wendy had money, but she definitely didn't have that much money to invest in that.
There were various car brands on the market now, and the status of the three famous brands was almost
unshakable. It was even more difficult to find a rival for jepon's cost-effective mid-to-low-end cars.
"That's an overstatement. It will cost some money in the early stage, but not that a lot. And my family has already
found corresponding talents and gotten advanced technology. You can invest and become a shareholder if you like.
The Carter family would never rip off a friend..."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"The Carter family already has a plan?" Wendy was stunned.
"I'm planning to open a car exhibition in West River City recently. You can come and check it out, Ms. Giradia."
"Ok... I'm in!" Wendy agreed.
It took Jessica a second to react.
"The Carter family is the head family in Manskarta, and its influence radiates to the entire country and other small
countries around it. So if you really have the talents and technology that you mentioned, then I believe it'll be
successful." Wendy gave her perspective.
"Ok, then," Jessica replied.
The friendship between some people was stable, but it would be indestructible if they had common interests. The
Carter family knew Nathan was a person who would not betray his friends, but wouldn't it be better and more
stable to tie everyone's interests and make money together?
Jade took a glance at Jessica. She didn't know Jessica was this generous. It was beyond her expectations.
Wendy also realized what Jessica was trying to do. That was why she agreed with little hesitation.
Only Nathan thought they were just talking about investment. Though he had gone through a lot, he still couldn't
compare with those three women in terms of business and relationships between families. He could only trick
innocent girls like Gussie.
The Carter family had already established a car company with an interesting name called Luck Auto.
Luck Auto came from an old tale. It was said that there was a brave knight in the 9th century, and he had a famous
horse called Luck Auto. It was said that the horse was black like night and fast like lightning. Nathan didn't expect
that a meal together would lead to something like a business meeting.
"It wouldn't have happened if I hadn't invited you for dinner. So I'm your lucky star! Treat me nicer next time,"
Nathan said to Wendy.
"Please stop talking." Wendy rolled her eyes.
At that moment, they heard someone swipe open the door.
As soon as Hannah entered the room, she saw three pairs of women's shoes on the doorstep. "I'm going to kill you,
Nathan! How dare you bring three women home!"
They went silent for a second. Then, Jessica spat out the red wine in her mouth, and her laughter echoed in the
room all of a sudden.
Wendy was stunned for a moment, and then a little dissatisfaction flashed across her eyes. But no one knew where
her dissatisfaction came from.
Jade shook her head with a slight smile on her face.
The four people sitting in the dining room saw Hannah rushing in angrily while holding an umbrella. "What's
happening?” Hannah called out.
After seeing clearly who the three women were, Hannah couldn't help being startled and didn't know what to say at
the moment.
Nathan was amused by Hannah's reaction and laughed with Jessica.
Hannah touched her hair as if nothing had happened and tried to explain, "It is about to rain. I just want to remind
you to bring an umbrella when you leave..."
She just came back from Emperia City. When she entered the room and saw three pairs of women's shoes, her
mind went blank. But she had never imagined those were the three women in the house.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWendy was kind of her boss, not to mention Jessica and Jade. If Nathan had really cheated on her with those three
women, she would've admired him for that.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were back?" Nathan asked after he stopped laughing while signaling her to sit
down.
Hannah told herself to forget the awkward scene that had just happened and sat down. "I didn't know you invited
these three esteemed guests today. Why didn't you tell me about it?"
"Did you really think your man could get three of us, Ms. Ranchy?" Jessica couldn't help but tease.
"I was just joking," Hannah forced herself to calm down and answered with a stiff smile. Everyone didn't care about
that little episode of Hannah. They just thought it was funny, and after laughing, they got down to business again.
"I heard you have an Aston Martin one 77. Can I borrow it for the car exhibition?" Jessica asked.
"I gave it to her. You have to ask her," Nathan replied casually.
Jessica looked at Hannah and asked, "What do you say, Ms. Ranchy..."
"No problem, Ms. Carter. You can call your people to come to the garage and get it."
After eating, the three of them said their goodbyes and left.
"I'm going to kill you!" As soon as they walked out of the room, Hannah ran to Nathan fiercely, as if she really
wanted to kill him.
"You can't blame me for that! You are the one that misunderstood,” Nathan dodged her fists and retorted.
Hannah threw herself on the sofa, and mumbled, "That was really embarrassing! I'm not as good as others in the
first place and let others see such a side, I just die."
Nathan couldn't help being taken aback for a while, then he patted her head gently. "You really worked hard for this
Hannah, and I believe you will do better in the future."
