Chapter 682: Starting Over(5)
The thunderstrike arrived and hit Johanna’s father right in his chest. The man couldn’t stabilize himself and crashed to the ground with a loud bang.
The family of Johanna rushed toward their patriarch, only to see a wide pit welcoming their sight. Around ten members of Johanna’s generation had reached the realm of Immortality, so they had better eyesight than others.
They could see their father lying unconscious in the pit at a depth of a few hundred meters.
A deep gash could be seen on his chest. It was a burn injury as no blood came out of it.
“What happened?” One of the wives of Johanna’s father asked Johanna after finding her in the crowd. Her tone wasn’t friendly since everyone in the family knew how much the man adored Johanna.
“I…I…I,” Johanna wanted to respond, but no words came out of her mouth as she couldn’t remove the image of her father’s injury from her mind.
“Are you responsible for it?” The eldest brother of Johanna suddenly appeared next to her and asked in an unfriendly tone..
The man wasn’t only the eldest in the current generation, but he was also the most talented of the lot. He was the only one in his generation to reach the peak of Immortality, while only being a few hundred years older than Johanna.
Johanna’s eyes turned moist as she remembered the scene of a comfortable feeling suddenly washing over her body and then the arrival of the tribulation.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJohanna was going to nod when suddenly she felt the space around her changing.
“Do you need to know everything?” Johanna’s father had regained his consciousness as he appeared in front of his eldest son and told him in a reprimanding tone.
“Father, I was just worried for you,” The son replied. His tone contained a hint of fear since he had himself seen how much his father adored his daughter.
Johanna’s father had a harem of several thousand women, with only those who have given him a child, getting the title of his wife.
The man had a blood sibling who was still rotting in prison. There were around ten thousand siblings in the current generation, and not all had the blood feeling between them.
The man’s sibling had fallen in love with Johanna, despite knowing that she was his blood sister. Relationship between people having the same parent wasn’t common, but the relationship between siblings with only a single similar parent wasn’t a rare occurrence in their family.
If the man’s sibling had kept it to himself, he would have been fine. But the bastard confessed it to Johanna, and when Johanna refused, using the strength of his brother, he attempted to force himself on her.
If not for the man’s mother begging for forgiveness, their father would have killed him.
“Worry about me when you surpass me,” Johanna’s father scoffed and disappeared from the place.
“Damn it!!!” The eldest son cursed in anger after his father left. He could see the looks of mocking in his sibling’s eyes. His mother rushed to him and whispered something in his ears.
The eldest calmed down, and the next moment, he disappeared with his mother. The siblings and wives of the father also returned to their houses since there was no point in standing there anymore.

After teleporting himself, the man appeared in her room and crashed to the ground.
Johanna, who was already in the room, rushed to her father and gently picked him up.
“Sorry, father. If I wouldn’t have tried to start over, you wouldn’t have to do it,” Johanna spoke with tears streaming down her cheeks.
No response came from her father since he had lost his consciousness once again.
A few seconds later, the father opened his eyes. Since he was an Immortal, the injury on his chest should have healed, but there wasn’t even a slight change in that burnt gash.
Time flew by.
Johanna had a tense expression on her face as it was now time for the moment to arrive.
After waking up, her father had become excited with the prospect of her starting over. In fact, he was even more excited than Johanna.
Johanna knew something had happened in the tribulation, but she didn’t dare to ask since she still felt guilty about it.
“Free your mind of everything and use it to destroy the pocket space,” Johanna’s father’s stern tone rang in the area.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmJohanna did as told by her father. She took a deep breath and took it again. She repeated the process until the point where there was nothing left in her brain, except for the point of starting over.
“Stop thinking about it and free your mind completely,” Johanna’s father could easily see through his daughter, so he reprimanded her.
Johanna did as told. The next moment, there was nothing in her mind. If it were to materialize, it would be a blank piece of paper where anyone could write anything.
It was now time for the next step to arrive. Johanna had already transferred all her items out of pocket space to her space ring.
No external energy could take part in the process as it would result in the complete disintegration of not only the pocket space but also her consciousness. Death would be the best outcome at that point.
The pocket space lived next to the sea of consciousness since the sea of consciousness carried the Tao Palace.
The next moment, the sea of consciousness started going wild. A bead of sweat appeared on Johanna’s forehead, as the raging of the sea of consciousness didn’t come without any pressure.
As the sea raged, the pressure on Johanna grew. Her entire body had become wet with sweat as a wave larger than anything rose in her sea of consciousness.
The destination of the wave was her pocket space. It was tough for Johanna to carry the process since if she lost even a hint of concentration, the tide would fall, and it would result in a severe injury. Johanna would have to stop before she even started.

A/N: I know the chapters with Johanna had gotten more in number than expected. It’s out of my expectations as well, but I hope you like it. The Art of the Doom had a larger role to play in the story, and due to it, Johanna also had a role.
Let’s hope the next would be the last, but who knows? Five more chapters left for the mass release.
Thanks for supporting the book!
