Chapter 1376: Breakthrough and New Beginnings(7)
Laney didn't expect her inner world to be blessed at all—forget it being blessed by red lightning. It was also the first time she found out that red lightning could also bless the inner world.
As the red lightning began to fade away, Laney's inner world was slowly decreasing in size, and at the same time, it was turning red from its usual gray color.
Laney tried to peer through the wall and see what was going on inside her inner world but found the red light obstructing her. If she tried to force her way inside, things would turn dangerous for her.
Laney no longer tried to attempt it and silently stood there. Before beginning the breakthrough, she never expected to sit back and let things proceed on their own.
Time flew by, and one hour passed in the blink of an eye.
The inner world had finally taken form, and it was no longer a spherical core but a zigzag-like lightning, while it was blood red in color and slightly lower in intensity when compared to the red lightning snake.
Laney had heard of different shapes of the inner world, so it wasn't much of a surprise to her. What surprised her was that there were already lives forming inside the inner world.
Stepping into the True God didn't mean that the inner world would immediately have energy and the inhabitants inside it would be able to cultivate, but it was a slow, gradual process. For some, it took days; for others, the time grew to months; and for some, it grew to years, but Laney had never heard of an instant phenomenon.

Aakesh smiled in response since Laney didn't disappoint him, and his choice didn't turn out to be incorrect. Even though the quest was far from complete since Laney needed to conquer a territory and become a King, Aakesh didn't worry about it.
The most difficult part of the quest was to find someone who would step into the True God level from the Divine Transformation level in less than thirty years. Conquering wasn't much trouble for someone with that kind of talent.
Laney then extended her hand and looked enthusiastically at Aakesh. Aakesh extended his hand in response, turning it into a fist and passing it to Laney.
Laney was excited to see what it was that Aakesh had given her, but when he opened her hands, she found nothing but empty air. Laney was about to complain when she suddenly discovered her surroundings were changing.
She was no longer inside the store but in a vast garden. She turned to her left and found Aakesh standing there, while there was no one ahead of her.
The next moment, she felt the ground beneath her sink. To be more precise, she was floating up at a quick rate.
In no time, the ground beneath her had become blurry to her, and soon after, she could no longer see it. Laney wasn't understanding what Aakesh meant by that, so she turned to her left but found he was nowhere to be seen.
Laney was still floating up without stopping. It wasn't visible to her, but a feeling.
"You want me to be a King?" Laney asked after returning to the store. What she saw in the vision was something unimaginable, so the shock was still there on her face.
"Yes, you need to conquer new lands and become a King."
"Big Brother, my father is already a King. I am sure if I asked him, he would give the throne to me. Why do I need to claim another territory?" Laney couldn't help but ask after Aakesh's response.
"Because your destiny awaits it," Aakesh responded. He couldn't just tell her to become a King so that his quest would be complete, so he randomly introduced destiny.
Anything involving destiny was mysterious and easily believable. The same happened with Laney. Her eyes turned solemn when she heard Aakesh, and she immediately accepted it.
If Aakesh were to activate a skill like Fortune Eyes and see Laney's fate lines before and after his response, he would be surprised to find out that the number of golden fate lines had grown outrageously in the latter situation.
"I believe that you will be a great ruler…" Aakesh said some more sweet words to make Laney believe that conquering was a required option.
Laney deeply respected Aakesh, so it wasn't very hard for her to accept Aakesh's statement about needing to become a King.
The scenes she saw in that vision further added to her interests. The reward Aakesh talked about was something unimaginable to her. Unfortunately for her, she was too low level to completely understand the scale of it.
Still, that slight window of opportunity was more than enough for the current Laney.
"Since you want me to become a King, I will become one," Laney patted her chest and responded.
"Should I conquer the Fawkes Kingdom?" Laney immediately asked, trying to make a joke with him.
Since it was the evening after the store's closing, Laney didn't need to worry about wasting Aakesh's time.

"Will there be a reward if I become a King in the next two years?" Laney asked with an expectant gaze after Aakesh told her she needed to become a King in two years.
Aakesh believed in doing the work before the deadline, so he asked Laney to do it in two years, and he still would have a few months left before the deadline.
"Yes, once you become a King, I will reward you," Aakesh responded.
"Will it be that opportunity again?" Laney expectantly asked.
"No, something even better," Aakesh answered with a smile.
It was unimaginable for Laney but not worth much for Aakesh, and what he was going to reward Laney at her coronation ceremony was countless times greater in value and compatibility.
