done something wrong, spinning around like a headless chicken.
Everett gave a helpless smile; he just couldn’t handle her sometimes
It’s just a small wound, no biggie.”

“You didn’t have dinner, right? I ask room service to send something up.” He interrupted her gently,
then followed with a slightly awkward cough, ‘Ga take a shower first”

“Okay, I’ll be right out. She clenched her fists, opened the bathroom door, and saw Everett standing at
the door. His eyes were scanning over her
“You didn’t shower?”
“I think we need to have a serious talk, Mr. Lopez. What do you say?”
Everett nodded with a calm look, “Sure, let’s talk while we cat”
He walked over to the dining table and even thoughtfully pulled out the chair for her.
Dorothy took a deep breath, “I think you should reconsider our contract!”
Everett paused in cutting his steak. He raised an eyebrow, “Now that the surgery is over and you don’t
need me anymore, huh?”
“No, no, thats not what I mean!!”
“Ms. Sanchez, there’s something you should be clear about. We signed the contract written in black
and white, so you should honor it”
If she wanted to be formal about it, he could play along
