| can't believe how stupid | was, and now | can't look up from Adrian's arms, especially at his stunned secretary.

| almost said no until | heard his unnecessary long explanation. "Thanks...really," | take the card, suddenly
assured about my unknown adventure. Money is not everything, but it provides security more than any luggage.
Adrian comes back with two tickets in his hand. | hesitate before reaching over for them. He dodges my
hand.
"I'm coming with you," Adrian says with a dominant tone, "Just for a few days until you can settle down."
"I don't-" | shake my head and he already turned and started striding for the security line.
His damn long legs! | can barely keep up as | basically jog beside him, "Adrian, I'm serious! | can't let you do-"
"You promised you'd helpwith Aurora," He glances at me, and when his eyes land on my legs, a smirk crawls
onto his lips, "I don't imagine she would be too happy if she later found out that I'let you go to a new city with
nothing on you, alone." "I literally have a new debit card assigned by a billionaire!" | hiss at him, but fail to
snatch the tickets from him.
