Rise of The Anti God (Web Novel)
Chapter 131: Rising Sun Trading Guild's HeadquartersDamien nodded and followed the young man towards an ethereal blue array.
Once they were inside the array, Damien saw his surroundings quickly warp.
'Wow, a spatial ethereal formation.' Damien was astonished that they had teleportation formations inside the building, and this was the first time he experienced one.
'Way more convenient than lifts or escalators.' Damien chuckled inwardly.
Within a moment, they were already on a floor that gave off an awe-inspiring feel and looked resplendent, fit enough only to receive the most influential and high-ranking people.
A current of refreshing air wafted through his senses as if he was standing near a waterfall. He never thought that he could experience such a clean and refreshing air inside a building.
He didn't feel as if he was in a trading guild but some palace hall.
However, when he looked around the floor, there was absolutely no one!
There was even a grand balcony with an open garden and gave a good view of the imperial palace far away and the ocean.
Huge bushes framed a neat field of grass. A lone ornamental piece stood in the front right, intricately designed, and was a rare sight. The rows of flowers were clearly a pride and joy within the garden, as they were very well cared for with full of hidden potential.
'How did they even build all this in a single floor?' Damien was awed by the architecture and ambiance of the floor. Even the seven-star hotels in his previous life couldn't match up to the grandeur and refreshing atmosphere on the floor.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt seemed like the entire floor was a dreamland, and one wouldn't even get tired of spending days on this floor.
Suddenly, an ethereal formation glowed in the room as two gorgeous and graceful beauties came out of it. Their beauty was one in ten thousand, and their bearing was even more elegantly poised.
But the most surprising fact was that both of their ethereal cultivation was at the Peak Level of the Earth Ethereal Realm!
Damien was awed that even welcoming maids on this floor was so powerful. If they were in the Rong Empire, they could easily rule at least a small city. But here, they were just maids that waited upon customers.
The two women came towards Damien and bowed gracefully, "Esteemed senior, welcome to the Rising Sun Trading Guild. We would be here to take care of you in case you need anything."
However, when they set their eyes on Valentina, they felt that their beauty was overshadowed to the point that they felt inferior.
Damien quickly swept a glance and was surprised there weren't any weapons or pills displayed for sale but only grand sofas and tables as if it was a guest room to receive guests. There wasn't the slightest trace of this floor belonging to a trading guild.
The young man who had been standing on Damien's side said, "Thank you, ladies. I will lead Senior Azrael to Master. You two can bring in some top quality drinks for our senior and his protege here."
The two women saluted and went on their way.
While leading the way, the young man turned towards Damien and said in a respectful tone, "Sorry for my late introduction. My name is Falko, and I am the personal disciple of Master Leon, the Guildmaster of the Rising Sun Trading Guild."
When Falko said 'personal disciple', he took a quick glance at Valentina to see if she was impressed but was disappointed when she didn't even bat an eyelid.
Damien nodded but didn't say anything. They walked through the garden, and after passing through some flowerbeds, a simple yet exquisite courtyard appeared in their sights.
In the center of the courtyard was an elegant pavilion, and in front of the pavilion stood an old man dressed in simple azure robes. His face looked kind and wise with a tranquil aura around him.
'He is at the Fourth Level of the Profound Ethereal Realm.' Luna suddenly dropped a remark.
Damien's brows raised, thinking how such a powerful man looked as if he was an ordinary old man one would see in the streets. But he thought it was quite natural as someone who runs and manages such a colossal business won't surely be simple.
Damien knew that Luna had set his alter ego's cultivation aura just the same as that of a practitioner at the Tenth Level of the Heaven Ethereal Realm.
He speculated that the old man in front of him didn't bother to revert to his youthful look, probably to give off an elderly look or that he had lived up most of his lifespan.
However, he felt that it was probably the former as he had heard rumors of how most of the powerhouses wouldn't bother to keep their youthful looks once they were in a powerful position to look more dignified.
The old man sized up Damien as he walked towards him with a smile. Damien also took a step forward and greeted politely, "Alchemist Azrael greets Senior Leon."
The old man chuckled, "Hoho, it is a great pleasure to finally meet you, Alchemist Azrael. This old man is surnamed Xeton, and people address me by Leon. Even though I am the Guildmaster of this guild, I am also an Alchemist myself and dedicated my whole life to trying to concoct the mythical Supreme Tier Pill. I never thought a junior alchemist would beat me to it, hoho. You are truly the most talented alchemist in this world, and I can say it won't be long before you even overshadow me."
Damien said formally, "If you don't mind, I will look forward to it."
Leon Xeton had a surprised look and said in an admiring tone, "I knew it. You are truly different from boring alchemists like us. I can't wait to see the heights you can reach as someone like me had already reached the end of their potential. Come, have a seat and let's talk comfortably."
He then turned towards Valentina and was again awed how beautiful she looked that even the illustrious Xeton Princess' beauty would lose out to Valentina's by a small margin.
He had seen Valentina entering the building and wondered how such a heavenly beauty was kept hidden in the world. But seeing how even Alchemist Azrael only recently popped up, he didn't find it much surprising.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmBut what surprised him was that he had heard rumors of Valentina being a little girl and wondered why the rumors seemed so different from the actual fact. He racked his brain hard to remember if there were any families with pink hair and exotic features.
But no matter how hard he tried, he was absolutely sure he never came upon someone like her.
He said in a gentle tone without showing any other expression, "Hello Miss, may I know your good name?"
Not only Leon Xeton but no one in the continent knew the name of the mysterious disciple of Alchemist Azrael.
Valentina didn't say anything and simply looked at Damien, who simply gave her a nod.
Valentina forced a polite smile and greeted, "Valentina, personal disciple of Alchemist Azrael, greets Senior Leon."
She had learned from books how to greet seniors properly and follow the basic social etiquette.
Although Damien had told her to follow his lead and act accordingly, she instinctively looked towards him to get his approval as she never did anything that Damien didn't tell her to do.
She was slowly starting to get used to doing things independently instead of asking Damien. Her mindset was simple in the sense that if it were an enemy she would bare her fangs, while if it were any other person, she wouldn't do anything.
She had barely interacted with any other people other than Damien, and for a moment, she didn't know if she should respond to Leon Xeton when he suddenly asked for her name.
"That's such a beautiful name that truly fits you." He then looked at Damien and asked curiously, "Where did you come upon such a talented disciple?"
Leon Xeton sensed that Valentina was at the First Level of the Earth Ethereal Realm, which was quite excellent for her age when she didn't even have any organization or empire's backing.
Damien said casually, "I found her as an abandoned child. Even I am not sure about her parents. But all I know is that they are not coming back for her."
Leon Xeton nodded in understanding as he speculated that it might be the case.
He then gestured towards the chairs and said, "Please have a seat. Let's talk comfortably."
