171 Festive Atmosphere
Luo Xiao could not help but feel soft in his heart, and he reached out his arms to embrace the man that had dragged him over.
While the whole world looked at Jiang Yao as the invincible and powerful Seventh Demon Prince, Luo Xiao could not help but look at this demon who would act childish on certain times, and put down his pride to show how much he cared about his lover.
Such a man made Luo Xiao unable to hold back his love and he placed a gentle kiss on Jiang Yao’s forehead, and then buried his face in the younger man’s neck.
“I won’t leave you, don’t worry.” ????????????r????a????.????????m
Luo Xiao knew that his words might not be enough to reassure the paranoid demon, but he still wished to put his thoughts into words. He would always be honest, and he would forever stand by his side to support him and to make him understand his sincerity with his actions.

“Okay, let’s get going.”
Jiang Yao knew that while most young men of Luo Xiao’s age would have long since understood emotions such as lust, but the seal that had buried his power also had a big influence on his development in certain aspects.
He was indeed rapidly growing, but by the time Jiang Yao met him, he was truly a piece of white paper, not knowing the truth of many things.
.....
This was also the reason that Jiang Yao was not going to pressure him into many things. Instead he just wanted Luo Xiao to slowly understand that he, Jiang Yao, could make him feel some new and addictive emotions that would make him lose control of himself.
Jiang Yao and Luo Xiao did not take the carriage to the auction house, deciding to walk the distance hand in hand instead.
The streets were bustling and full of life. Long rows of carriages were blocking each other’s way, and everyone was rushing towards the auction house to get there in time for this legendary auction that would make history.
The whole atmosphere within Cloudsoar City was full of excitement. The tickets to join the auction had been difficult to get, and the auction hall was fully booked.
Even so, those who did not have the money or fame to get an invitation were still waiting eagerly to hear rumors about this auction. They wanted to know in detail about the items that were put up, and what price they would fetch.
They also wished to know what the most expensive item would end up being, and who would take it away.
The items that were being put up for auction were all treasures, and many of them were extinct materials. Those which could still be found in nature were all of an age which made them the best among the best, and their price would be hard to imagine.
However, while these things all were priceless treasures, having so many gathered at one place might be difficult for them to earn their worth, as the bidders might prefer other items, and consequently down prioritize these things, which would usually be worth a lot more.
However, neither Jiang Yao, nor Luo Xiao regretted their decision of tossing them all out in one special auction.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIf they took out a few items at a time, the effort would be too much to make up for the benefits they gained. As such, they were merely throwing away excess treasures, wanting to earn a bit of wealth along the way.
The atmosphere was making Luo Xiao excited. His eyes were shining as he looked at the decorated streets, making him realize that the whole city was celebrating this special auction, and that experts from all across the continent had gathered to gain the most suitable treasures.
The auction house was situated in a large and renowned square. This was one of the most upscale locations for businesses within the entire Cloudsoar City, and usually small food stalls had no right to be set up here, but today was a special day.
The auction house had put out word that they would approve of a few stalls to be put up, and many merchants had applied.
In the end, they had picked the most delicious and cleanest stalls, and they had also approved many other stalls that specialized in games or small items that were popular during festivals.
While there was no actual festival, the auction house had decided to make its own celebration, and the festive spirit was all over the square, drawing many citizens to celebrate, even if they had no tickets to join the auction.
Luo Xiao was not aware of these extensive plans for the auction, and his eyes widened in surprise. He had not had the time to relax and attend any magnificent festivals so far, so when he looked at the stands and the decoration of various lanterns, his eyes were full of excitement.
“The square will be alive in celebration the whole day, and they will not take down the stalls before tomorrow, so we can have some fun after the auction ends.”
Jiang Yao noticed the longing within Luo Xiao’s eyes, and he hurriedly assured the younger man that they would be able to play to their hearts’ content later.
While he had never participated in any festivals before either, he was quite excited about doing so with Luo Xiao.
