That night Kana snuggled up to her babies and slept with them, leaving Creige by his lonesome. It was originally supposed to be a husband and wife's first night in over a hundred years, but Kana got dragged away by the girls. Although disappointed, he was not mad. He felt it was a good thing that the girls got to spend a bit more time with their mother. Creige did not sleep at all, he only checked on Kana and the girls before heading outside and sitting on a rock overlooking the fresh gap in the mountain range. "Hey, old man, is this world really that good for powering up?"
"Oh? You knew I was here?" The old man smiled as he walked over and sat next to Creige. He reached into his sleeve and pulled out a tray with a tea set on it. It floated in the air in front of them.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"If I couldn't sense you standing behind me, then I wouldn't have survived so long in that dark world you sent me to." Creige responded as he took the cup of tea he was handed.
"Haha! This is very true. It is true that the cultivation methods of not just this world but other worlds are indeed good. They will make you all more powerful than you were, but it depends on the person. Would you be able to last through all the hardships and years it will take to complete this task of cultivating? You may even be stuck on this world without the use of magic for a very long time. And even if close by, you will still be separated from your loved ones as you cultivate. Little Kana is someone who has luck on her side. She is able to really move forward as long as she wishes. As long as she has a strong goal, she will power through everything. Even now, her cultivation is already much faster than anyone else on this planet. But everything takes time.
"If she can reach the final stages and break this world's bounds of her own free will, she will be an unstoppable force within the sea of stars. And when she finally reaches Aurora, she will not need to worry about being repressed right away. Now that I think about it, it really would be wise to allow you and the rest of your family to learn to cultivate as well. Maybe we can work something out..." The old man's brain began to turn. He decided he would allow them to train here but he would make it a little surprise. As for the others, since sitting on a ship will not do them any good, it would also be good to let them power up as well. Thinking this far the old man muttered: "The only trouble is that little robot girl. She really does have strange habits of rubbing against other machines."
Creige sighed and looked up at the starry sky above. "Then I will leave our training in your hands. As for Misaki…. Leave her to manage the ship. She is too dangerous to be moving around on her own."
The old man had told Creige everything at intervals regarding Kana, so Creige knew all about her spaceship. The more he learned and talked with the old man, the more he realized he was truly doing everything for Kana's sake. While he hated it, he could already see Kana's state of mind, and the way she carries herself had truly matured.
"Haha! That is true. Training training.... This is a huge change in the plans I had before, but this is for the best." The old man nodded his head, agreeing with his own words. He felt this way no matter what came their way, Kana's entire family would be able to handle it. But he also felt that he would end up much busier than before. Especially if he had to wait for the entire group to finish this new training while watching over them. He could only sigh, knowing his relaxed life was soon going to be even more hectic.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAfter another day passed, Kana finally got to spend the night with one of her favorite meat sticks. After being apart for so long, the two did not stop until the early mornings of the next day. Kana's skin looked as if it had been born anew as she walked out of the bedroom, stretching her arms. She hadn't felt this great in a long time. With her tail wagging back and forth, Kana walked downstairs to have breakfast with her babies and the others. As for Creige, he was still sound asleep in bed. Kana had drained him of all his energy. He truly had nothing left in him.
After a good amount of training from Aoi and the other elementals, Kori finally gained full control of her element and was able to contain it so that it would not harm anyone she did not wish to. As she was still small and had the mentality of a young child, Kana still treated her as one of her daughters. Even Rain, who had inherited Kana's super motherly instincts, could not leave the cute little girl alone.
Kana knew none of this was going to last for long, which when she thought about it brought tears to her eyes. She did not wish to be split from her family again. To her, this was true heaven. Her babies, her handsome husband, and her friends. With everyone here, it was truly a blessing.
"Mama, someone's coming…." Yana announced as she stood up with her hand on the hilt of her sword.
Kana waved her hand, causing a few floating eyes to appear, and sent them out of the window to take a look. What she saw was a group of disciples ragged and down on their luck, walking up a small path made by demonic beasts. Walking next to them, looking completely fine, was Elder Ning.
"Oh, they finally made their way up here?" Kana pursed her lips and wondered what she should do. She looked up at the old man who was playing chess with Creige and only got a small smile from him. She rolled her eyes and stood up. "Let's go say hi. Elder Ning has helped your mother a lot."
"Mama, are any of them strong? Can I try fighting against one of these so called cultivators?" Yana's eyes were glowing with anticipation, she wanted to see how a cultivator fought.
