Chapter 356 - A Terrible News
A terrible piece of news swept through the whole Fritz Clan. The holy son, Winston Fritz, was assassinated by an organization that is now making a name for itself in the whole Immortal Plane.
"Did you hear why the holy son died?" asked one person.
"Yeah, I heard that he didn't pay the assassins, and he owed them a lot of debt. So, they killed him, decapitated his head, and left a note," replied another.
"What's written on the note?" someone inquired.

Many people were talking in the streets, and the news was deliberately spread by Gargantor. Gargantor is a protagonist-type character, and his journey with Ronin made him stronger. He was only at the Imperial Emperor level, one realm below the late holy son, Winston. However, being an assassin doesn't require fighting fairly.
He learned a lot of techniques from Ronin, who mastered numerous tricks in killing enemies and torturing them.
The news that they would invade and rob the supreme elder's domain was ordered by Dave since he was the one who would personally carry out the act, as Gargantor's level was not sufficient for such a task. This action would also serve as a stepping stone to showcase the terrifying capabilities of their assassin organization.
"I'll kill them!" shouted Marken, the supreme elder, consumed with anger. He had wanted to keep the news hidden to avoid bringing shame to his family, but someone had spread the news, making him realize that the enemy was still within their domain.
He commanded the entire domain to be locked down and ordered a search for the most suspicious person. He had given the token to his grandson, thinking he could use it in the future, but he didn't expect that it would lead to his grandson's death. Although he knew his grandson was mischievous, he didn't know if the accusations made by the assassins were true, but he decided to hunt them down.
He had a feeling that Dave was responsible, but he lacked evidence, and Francis advised him not to act rashly. Accusing Dave would be akin to accusing the entire Alexander Clan, known for their aversion to engaging in shady acts against their enemies. They preferred facing their adversaries directly, without fearing anyone.
Feeling helpless as a True Saint, Marken was well aware of the strength of the Alexander Clan, especially their current patriarch, a true monster compared to the previous patriarchs of the clan.
Lucien was stronger than any other True Saint he had ever seen. Marken personally witnessed Lucien slaying a Demon that had terrorized many realms, all with just one move. Even when Lucien was merely an Imperial Emperor, he had fought against five True Saints and managed to escape safely while also injuring two of them. Upon becoming a True Saint himself, Marken knew Lucien hunted down those who had opposed him in the past. One of his targets came from the Fang Clan, and Lucien's actions created chaos within the clan, forcing the ancestors to compromise and hand over the individual.
Marken also knew of Matilda's terrifying power, and he wasn't sure if he could win against her. She was the only one who could make Lucien back down.
"F*ck, the Alexanders," Marken cursed in frustration. He hated Dave, but he could only vent his anger on the assassin.
Meanwhile, Dave looked at Gargantor, whose body had now grown to three meters tall. Gargantor knelt before Dave with reverence, his aura much stronger than before. Dave could feel his killing intent had intensified, and he applauded Gargantor for his diligence.
Dave informed Gargantor that he could now go back, but he gave him some pills to help increase his cultivation. Likewise, Freida, an Imperial Saint King, was close to breaking through to the Imperial Saint Emperor level due to the pills he had given her.
Freida expressed her desire to visit her father, and Dave nodded, deciding to stroll through the streets, intending to further tease the supreme elder. The guards, aware of Freida's presence, didn't dare to stop them, as they had been instructed by the patriarch not to offend Dave.

...…..
Inside the patriarch's residence, Freida hugged her father, and she felt the weight of the time they had spent apart. She was no longer wearing her veil, but her father didn't flinch when he looked at her, even though he knew about the curse she had. Freida smiled and explained that her curse was now gone, thanks to Dave's help.
Francis was overjoyed, and tears welled up in his eyes as the burden of the curse that had weighed heavily on his heart for so many years was finally lifted. He was immensely thankful and grateful to Dave for this.
Francis found Dave pleasing to the eye, and he could see the genuine happiness in his daughter's smile as she told him stories about Dave, almost as if she had reverted to her childhood days.
When Francis first saw Dave, he was astonished by his handsome appearance, but he also felt a sense of danger when facing him. He wasn't sure if it was just his perception or if he was hallucinating, but Freida assured him not to offend Dave because he was much stronger than he appeared.
The patriarch prepared a party for the two, inviting many friends without caring about the supreme elder's feelings.
Meanwhile, in the supreme elder's residence, frustration and anger boiled within him. He cursed Francis for having the audacity to host a party during such a chaotic time, seeing it as a tease directed at him.
Feeling panicked, the supreme elder gathered all his treasures and wealth in one place to safeguard them. He hid them in a location with numerous formations, inviting many elders and friends to help guard them.
The challenge stated that they would act tonight, and the supreme elder didn't doubt their resolve, knowing that their reputation was on the line. Failure would be catastrophic for their reputation.
