Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

It wasn’t until ten minutes later that Rina started to open her eyes. She was lying on a bed inside her dorm room and as she stood up, she held her head in pain. She just had the weirdest dream where her brother gave her a Mercedes-Benz as a birthday gift. Maybe it was because she loved Mercedes so much and was always telling him it was her dream car that she dreamt about it? There was no way she actually got one.

Rina swung her legs over the bed and the door to her room flew open.

“Han-Oppa! You’re here!?”

Rina was shocked to see Han. So he really did come already? Then what about that dream she had? Was that real too? Since when had she been sleeping?

Han stood in front of her bed and touched her head to check her temperature. Once he saw she was not burning up he sighed in relief. This girl just fainted on the floor without even warning him! What a silly reaction.

“Rina, how are you feeling. You just fainted like that!”

Rina took Han’s hand away from her head. Why was Han so worried. Didn’t he just arrive? And what did he mean by her fainting? Wait… Don’t tell her that it wasn’t a dream…

“Han-Oppa, you just arrived right!? Why are you telling me I fainted?”

“Rina, don’t be silly, you suddenly fainted after getting your gifts. It’s your birthday so why would you be making me worry like this!?”

Rina turned her head to the table at the side and she saw the flowers and gold card she thought she dreamt about. The car key with the big Mercedes symbol sat right beside them both, telling her very vividly that that was definitely not a dream!!

“Han-Oppa!!! W-What did you do!? All these gifts! They’re from where!?”

Han sighed and smiled at his sister. This girl was so used to them being poor that she was now shocked whenever he did this sort of thing for her. Or was he the weird one? He would be just as shocked if someone did something like this two months ago and now he was not even batting an eye at it!

He was the weird one!

“Rina, it’s your birthday today! You don’t have to worry about anything because your brother is going to take care of everything for you.”

Rina looked up at Hans smiling face and tears formed in her eyes again. How long had it been since she dreamt of her brother smiling like this?? She always saw him stressed out and tired. He was always working too much to provide for her schooling and rent! But today her brother was happy!

She stood up and grabbed him around the neck in a hug. This was the best gift she ever received on her birthday! It was greater than any amount of money he gave her!

Han hugged her back and laughed at her childishness. This sister of his was always crying. What a little girl!

The door to the room opened again and Han cursed whoever disturbed their sweet moment! Ping blushed once she saw the two of them hugging and nervously began to back out.

“I-I’ll just come back…”

“Ping! Look what Han-Oppa got for me!!”

Rina grabbed Ping before she could leave and dragged her inside the room. She picked the bouquet of roses and Ping laughed as Rina shoved them into her face. They smelt amazing and she was happy her friend was so happy.

Her eyes then trailed to the table and it bulged when she saw a Mercedes-Benz car key there. Was this not the Mercedes-Benz that everyone in school had been talking about all day!? Didn’t that mean the CEO they were talking about was also Han!? She couldn’t believe she also thought it was some rich man that came to sweep a poor girl off her feet. If she knew then she wouldn’t have been so jealous!!

“Rina, is that your key? The Mercedes-Benz!?”

Rina blushed and then laughed happily. She wanted to go drive it immediately and show Ping but she knew that they were supposed to be at the fair already, so she would do it later.

“Don’t worry, we’ll go see it later. We have to go to the fair first!”

Ping’s eyes widened! She totally forgot why she came here in the first place!!

“Rina! Dori is causing trouble in the fair! She’s trying to remove what we’ve worked so hard on!”

“What!!?”

Rina growled in anger. Behind them. Han watched the two girls run out of the room in a hurry to get to the fair. He followed behind them slowly and made sure he locked Rinas room for her. He wanted to see this dead woman that thought she would ruin his sister’s hard work.

*What do you think you’re doing?*

A random student from Rina’s class shouted at Dori. She couldn’t believe Dori was acting like this! They all worked so hard to make the fair good and now she was destroying it for a stupid reason!!?

Dori smirked as she threw another table over. She didn’t like the color scheme they used on these things. How could she have expected these peasants to make something she could appreciate. It was like they went to their country villages to grab anything and brought them into her fair! This will definitely not do!

“I want you to start all over again. This is not fit for something I am involved in!”

“If you don’t like it then maybe you should have helped out in making it! You don’t have any right to destroy what we all worked so hard for!”

“I will allow you go for talking back at me this once because it is our school fair. But if you want to leave here with your life then the two of you will bow down and kowtow before me!”

The crowds began to murmur in shock at her request! She was telling them to do the most embarrassing thing just for something this small!?

“Those two girls should have watched their mouths! Don’t they know that she is from the Ren family!?”

“I don’t think they have any chance to get out of this. I heard Cipher is somewhere in the crowd today. He will definitely not let them go if they do not obey the young mistress”

“Cipher is here!? That monster!? Where!? Where!?”

“Oh shut up!! He might hear you!!”

These murmurs in the crowd just got louder and louder as time went on and Ping did not see any way to get out of this. She had heard how dangerous the Ren family were and she did not want any trouble for her friend, especially now that Rinas brother was finally having good fortune. She pushed Rina back and stepped forward.

“I will kowtow alone! Don’t involve Rina in this!”

Dori smirked. Did this peasant think she would let any of them go? She would make them suffer for daring to talk back to her!

“I don’t care if she was part of it! You will both do it or I will not let you go today! How dare you talk back to me!? Don’t you know I can do whatever I want to this fair and you cannot do anything to stop me?”

Ping grit her teeth and glared at Dori. She was about to shout again but Rina touched her shoulder and she stopped. This fair was supposed to be fun for her brother and her and she wouldn’t let this girl destroy it. If the only thing Rina needed to do was kowtow to get peace then she would gladly do it.

“Fine. But if we do it then you will leave the fair alone. We worked hard on this and you didn’t do anything to help us! So you will leave this fair for us!!”

Rina said this loud enough for all her other classmates to hear and they all agreed with her.

This wasn’t the first time Dori was causing problems just because of her family name and they were already tired of it! She should just leave them alone to enjoy their hard work!

“Fine, you can have your stupid fair if you kowtow. I don’t think I even want to be around these shabby designs anyways”

Rina grit her teeth and then stepped forward but a hand landed on her head and stopped her. A cold voice rang out from behind her and a chill ran down her spine.
