Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

“H-How are you even taking care of them! Isn’t it hard for you to handle all of them at the same time!? I heard that males couldn’t last for more than one woman!”

Kanna said this with wide eyes and Han just laughed! He wouldn’t describe something like that, but just his silence was more than enough to put wild imaginations into Kanna’s head. A massive blush grew on her face and she tried to comport herself! She couldn’t get off topic! She came here for a reason and she has to finish it before doing anything else!

“S-So what did you say I needed to do for you to spare us? You said there was something you needed from me?”

Han nodded as he finally fell back down to the ground and looked up at the moon again.

“If they don’t attack me, then I won’t attack them. Go and tell them that. If I come to the portal tomorrow and I see anyone there then I’ll kill them. As long as none of you show your faces then I won’t need to kill you. It’s as simple as that,”

Kanna was surprised again. Was that all? They just needed to run away? Han was letting them off with something so simple!? What kind of condition is this!? It is too easy! Kanna immediately bowed to Han again as she ran out of the clearing! She had to get this message to her people! This man is too strong for them to fight so they just have to run away and he will spare them! She was sure that they will listen to her!

Han watched her go with a disinterested expression. He knew exactly what would happen when she goes to her people and he wouldn’t be surprised if none of them listen to her at all. Regardless of race, there is one thing that will always remain a constant in the lives of weaker people.

“What do you mean you’re not going to leave!? Are you insane! Didn’t you hear what Kanna said! She said that the man coming here is just as strong as Raphael!”

The person that said this was the leader of Kannas planet! He was speaking to his brother, and they were currently having a conflict of interest! When Kanna came back from her mission, she explained everything that happens to them! They were all scared when they heard that the person coming was just as strong as Raphael! They all knew about Raphael’s power and they didn’t think there was even a small chance they will be able to fight someone on Raphael’s level!

They asked Kanna if he had any weaknesses or if there was anything that they could do, and that is when Kanna told them that there was a chance for them to survive! She told them that Han will allow them to live as long as they don’t show their faces to him! If they hide and act like they are not there then he will not attack them! Han only wanted to get to the portal and as long as nothing was standing in between him and the portal then there is no need for him to fight.

Half of them immediately accepted this offer! They would leave the portal alone and hide so that Han can just leave! But there was another half that decided not to follow this condition! The reason why they decided not to follow was simple! They were scared of Raphael. What would Raphael do to them if he finds out that they abandoned their duty and hid away? They didn’t know about Han’s power and they didn’t know how strong he was. Maybe Kanna overestimated his strength. Was Raphael not the strongest in the universe? There is no way that someone is as strong as him! Kanna must have just felt scared because he was stronger than her.

What if we can fight Han and even win!! They didn’t know Han’s power, but they knew Raphael’s power and they knew just how dangerous it was!! They didn’t want to run away because they feared the known more than the unknown! They feared Raphael more than they feared what Han would do to them!

The person that was leading the second group that didn’t want to run was the brother of the planet’s ruler. He was glaring at his brother in anger as he shouted back at him

“How do you know that we can’t take him!? He’s just one man! There is no way he is as strong as Lord Raphael! And what do you think will happen to us if Lord Raphael finds out that we ran! We will die!”

His brother was speaking some facts, but the leader shouted right back that there were going to die either way! Why don’t they just try to fight for themselves for once!

“Do you want to live under Raphael’s tyranny forever!? He is not going to give us independence no matter what! I don’t want my family and my children to live under the same rule that I lived under. You can do whatever you want! I’m taking those that agreed to run away and I’m leaving!”

The leader turned away from his brother and his brother could only snarl in irritation! He couldn’t believe that the leader is doing all this just because of what a silly girl said! How does he know that Kanna wasn’t just lying because she was scared! They might be able to win if they fight! Their planet wasn’t the strongest in the universe, but they were still very strong! All of them had superior physical abilities and agility! If five people from their planet fought together then not even a black star can stand against them! There are more than five thousand of them here! If they all join forces are you saying that we still won’t stand a chance against this Han Luo! Impossible!

And so the two halves separated! Kanna was quietly following the leader while looking with concern at the other group! What are they thinking!? Why won’t they believe her!? Is it because they weren’t around to see Han’s expression when he spoke about killing them! Han spoke like killing them was nothing! It was obvious that he had the power to kill them without even straining himself at all! But Kanna wouldn’t bother with them! Her family was part of the half that are leaving and she will not pity stupid people!

The next day, Han finally decided it was time to go as he went towards the portal. He didn’t know what to expect because he didn’t bother keeping his senses activated while he slept. He allowed Kanna to leave and tell her people to also escape, and he wondered if they would accept his offer or not. Han got to the place where the portal was supposed to be and he saw that there was a large pyramid structure there. The entire thing was crafted from white stone and it was tall enough to even block the sun! Han looked up at the top with a whistle. It looked very nice. It would be perfect for trapping people inside!

Doon!

Han slammed his hand on the wall and he felt a large sonic wave travel through the pyramid! Immediately, he could see a general outline of what the inside looked like! There was a large maze-like structure inside and it all led to a center where the portal was! But Han could also feel and hear various heartbeats coming from inside the temple. Almost three thousand people were still inside the pyramid. Han knew they wouldn’t accept the offer. So some of them decided to stay back and suffer? Too bad.

Han started to walk into the pyramid as he sent a wave to Kanna that was watching him from a mile away. Kanna smiled sadly as she saw him enter the pyramid. She knew exactly what would happen inside there and she felt no pity for them at all! She just hopes that Lord Raphael doesn’t come and kill the rest of them for abandoning their mission like this.
