245 Chapter 244:Terrifying mind of the Host of Force

Ding!

Dong!

Ding!

Dong!

A loud bell sound boomed across the horizon, sending shivers down the spines of all those within the empire. From the very beginning, Damon has been preaching about this day and all the sacrifices he made for this day.

Now, this happened…

They all looked in the direction of the blood mountain where the palace of death was located with pitiful eyes but there was no response.

The strongest of the five sources located in the empire has pulled away from the war, drastically reducing their fighting power.

Soon civilians began protesting and cursing the palace of death, alongside its leader and members. They all demanded the council which decided the actions of the empire force Damon to join the war but Gin and the other hosts could only laugh at their stupidity.

“If we try that method, Damon Ross will wipe us out, faster than the combined forces of the enemy,” Elsa said as she stood above the clouds and gazed at the realm with joy.

He must confess, just like Damon promised, they created a paradise. But ironically the paradise became the prison and hell of its creator.

“They are dumb if they can’t see the bigger picture…. Damon is willing to wait it out because he is confident he can win against the old gods with his forces alone!” Gin said with a frown and everyone felt their heart tremble.

“What the hell?” Cyrus muttered with a frown.

If what Gin said is true, then there is a possibility that even if they are losing and the war turns chaotic and spirals out of control with civilians being butchered in large numbers, Damon will not appear!

Is he really willing to let everything he fought for and built get obliterated by invaders?

“Now you see why I said we have to win… No one is allowed to pull their punches unless we will die” Gin said with a calm look but the others seemed to frown.

Just like the old gods said, the trio has been deliberately hiding their strength and letting Damon take the spotlight for a reason.

The brighter the light, the thicker the shadow. But the shadow won’t be noticed because everyone will be fixated on the light.

That’s just how it has been and they capitalized on it well and that’s why even till now the old gods don’t know what we are capable of.

“The plan to hide our strength was yours and reserved for this day… Is it finally time to let loose?” Elsa said with a frown.

“We should have told Damon of our plan to start with” Cyrus muttered but Gin simply snorted disdainfully at his words.

“Back then our identity was unknown and everyone’s attention was on the newly exposed death god. That was the only time I could speak of it with the certainty that the old gods wouldn’t be listening in! Even as a mortal, am I not allowed to plot against the gods?” Gin said with a deep frown.

People may assume a god is omnipresent and they are not entirely correct, a god is always present and absent at the same time. It seems all at once but sees nothing as well.

Even in the scriptures, in rare moments when God looked down and saw that the deeds of man were wrong. They always have to focus on what they feel is important if they want to keep track of it. At that moment Damon’s cover as a host was blown, and Gin was sure the eyes of the gods were on Damon. That was when he made the plan known to others. That was the only time he would be able to speak of those plans again since they entered the spotlight after then.

Thinking that a mortal could deeply comprehend the way of the gods and even plan ahead, was truly terrifying. While Cyrus and Elsa looked up to someone like Damon for being domineering and powerful, they always had this deep-rooted respect in their hearts for him.

Nothing but respect and that’s why they followed him silently….

“Do you think we can win this war without his help?” Elsa asked with hopeful eyes.

Upon hearing her words even Cyrus looked up to Gin. If Gin said Thur can win, then they can win.

Just as they had faith in Damon’s strength, they also had a deeply ingrained faith in Gin’s wise and cunning mind.

“I can’t say for sure since I have almost knowledge of the enemy’s strengths and weaknesses but I know this for sure. I will not lose! My name shall never know defeat!” Gin’s eyes chilled as he said those words.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Just at that moment, the entire empire trembled as a massive flaming meteor flew into the empire but met a bright blue barrier.

Buzzz!

“It has begun!” Gin said with a deep frown but completely unmoved.

Bam!

Gin stomped the ground and a chaotic energy exploded from his body spreading far and wide.

Swoosh!

A strong gust of wind surged through the entire empire as blue strange symbols began engraving themselves on his skin. It was like a power plant powering up but something even deadlier.

Seal!

He engraved the seal controlling the entire empire’s defenses into his body. To deal with these issues this defense mechanism requires a massive source of energy.

Who has the energy to give far more than the young host of force?

Pa!

Gin performed a few hand seals as his long blue hair fluttered in the wind madly while his eyes revealed the immense calmness that can be seen in a man who has absolute plans.

Buzzz!

Everyone was turned as the entire empire was slowly getting uprooted. With Gin’s body glowing fiercely and the blue barrier surrounding the empire this was a thing!

“All Forces of this great empire! The enemy has come to our doorsteps and as so, we must deal with them accordingly…. Prepare for war!” Gin’s voice boomed like lightning across the world.

And somewhere within the palace of death, an aged lanky figure remained silent in the darkness, with his eyes shut as he pretended like nothing was happening.
