Cedric couldn't send everyone to the province Aiden was hiding out in a day, too many non-locals would catch people's attention, creating rumors, and those rumors were sure to reach Aiden's ears eventually.
It took Cedric almost a week to get all of his men into the province. With the help of the Lobo family they had set up fake events, seminars, and even infrastructure work.
They had to send more than just his security team and Ray's mafia members. Regular employees were also sent to the province in order to veer the attention away from the buff men that now took residence in nearby hotels.
"Do you think we have enough?" Cedric asked Ray as he drummed his fingers on the office table.
Cedric and the others had to secretly arrive at the province, they had no plans of scaring Aiden off before the attack.
"You men are here, my men are here, the Rocci's have sent theirs as well. Alexi was even able to mobilize the military for this." Ray said as he gave Cedric an are you kidding me look.
"But is that enough?" Cedric asked, keeping his serious expression.
"Is this a joke?" Ray asked his friend in an annoyed tone. "Aiden has fifty men tops, as for back up, he can barely call for any. This is more than enough."
Cedric nodded, he didn't speak, he leaned back and closed his eyes, thinking of his next move.
"Let's take him tonight as planned." Cedric said.
"Good, finally." Camilla said, entering the room.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtCedric and Ray were shocked to find her there, she was supposed to stay in the Capital.
"Your brother told you to stay." Cedric scolded Camilla as their eyes met.
"My brother isn't the boss of me." Camilla said as she rolled her eyes at Cedric. "I've lived most of my life without him, he can't come barging in and shouting orders."
"Like it or not he is right. You aren't safe here." Ray said, agreeing with Benedict's decision.
"You guys need more help." Camilla insisted. "This isn't my first mission, I've run many on Cedric's orders. I'm as experienced and Ian on this."
Cedric frowned and nodded. He knew Camilla was right, he needed more people to assist him, he had spread everyone too thinly.
He had assigned Dave to help Ayanna and Adrianna run the Reyes Group while he was away. Mae on the other hand continued working with Ace on investigating the missing Chan cousin. He didn't want Aiden to affect their progress on that.
Ian had accompanied him to the province to take on Aiden, while he had fully intended for Camilla to remain behind and continue her work at Mor Co. They had spotted a new entrant in the market that posed a threat to their growth.
"We've investigated the Mor Co. threat by the way." Camilla explained, wanting to settle his concern. "I have who it is and I think it can wait till we deal with my brother."
Cedric nodded in response, agreeing with her decision.
"I told you to stay in the capital." Benedict scolded his sister as he burst into the room.
"And I told you no." Camilla said in an intimidating tone. "I'm here now and Cedric said it's fine. This isn't the first time I'm helping out in something like this. I'm not some innocent child, Benedict." Camilla said, answering back.
"I won't let Aiden get to you again." Benedict said with a look of worry in his eyes.
"He won't Benedict." Camilla said, shaking her head. "I'll be far away at the command center."
Benedict grumbled, but there was nothing that he could do about it. Cedric had already agreed to let his sister stay, and Cedric's word was law.
"Get everyone in the main hall in thirty minutes. We'll do a final run of the plan." Cedric instructed Camilla. "And tell Sister Emilia that the attack will be tonight."
Camilla nodded and left, informing everyone involved to come.
Cedric was staying with the Lobo family, in the old mansion. They had allowed him to use it as the temporary command center before the attack.
Once the attack was about to begin, Camilla and the others would move closer to the convent, hiding out in the nearby school.
"Sister Emilia?" Camilla asked as she knocked on the nun's door. She too was staying with the Lobos until her convent could rid Aiden and his men.
"Camilla, please, call me Emilia." Sister Emilia said as she waved Camilla in. "Did you want to speak to me about something?"
"Yes, Cedric asked me to tell you that the attack will push through tonight." Camilla said.
"Oh, that's great news. Finally." Sister Emilia said with a relieved smile. "I'll call my nuns and tell them to start moving."
Camilla was about to leave, but she suddenly hesitated, making the nun look up at her.

"Well, yes, kind of." Camilla said in a hesitant tone.
"Let me give my nuns a call, then we can talk." Sister Camilla said with a warm smile.
"Alright." Camilla said as she took a seat on one of the couches in the room.
She watched as Sister Emilia dialed a number on her phone and waited for the people on the other end to pick up the call.
"Sister Fatima." Sister Emilia greeted in a warm tone. "I'm on my way home."
"Yes, my visit was a success." Sister Emilia said, answering Sister Fatima on the other end of the call.
"Yes we can celebrate when I get home." Sister Emilia said nodding.
"Yes, good, go go, take them with you and visit the market. Buy food for the celebration." Sister Emilia said, a serious expression crossing her face.
"I will see you when I return. Bye." Sister Emilia said as she dropped the call.
"Wow, that was the code?" Camilla said, surprised at how smoothly the conversation had flowed.
"Yeah." Sister Emilia said with a sigh as she sat down across Camilla.
"I'm sure my brother won't be able to notice it." Camilla said with a smile.
"You said you wanted to ask me something?" Sister Emilia asked.
"Yes. I guess I just wanted to know more about my brothers." Camilla said with a shrug. "I wanna know how they were growing up."
Sister Emilia nodded and smiled.
