The goalkeeper was fast asleep and he seemed to be enjoying himself as he slowly floated around on the surface of the water.
It felt calm and soothing and just the warm feeling of the water on his body made it seem like everything he had been feeling just a while ago never existed.
The sky was dark at first but then everything quickly changed as the sky quickly brightened up and a rainbow projected on the sky.
It was a nice view from where he was but he couldn't even see it because he was still asleep.
Just as he moved further down the surface of the water, trees began to sprout around him with birds of different colors suddenly appearing on them.
The place was starting to look like a proper world, a fantasy word to be precise.
However, his movement across the surface of the water had to be suddenly halted as he ran into a wedge, a wedge that turned out to be a canoe with someone in it.
The person in the boat turned out to be Catherine, she still had her silver hair and glasses and was still in the suit even in a place like this.
"I see you're starting to get the hang of using dream control to take proper control of your dreams." She said before looking down at him. "I would say you've mastered it with everything you just did but I don't know how wild your imagination is when you're conscious here."
After saying all that, she gave him a light tap on his forehead and that was all that was needed to get him to open his eyes.
"Owww." He groaned as he slowly opened his eyes to see her staring down at him. "Catherine?"
"Hi." She said with a little wave.
"How am I here? And how am I.."
He paused for a while to push his right hand further down to confirm that he was really floating on top of the water.
"How am I doing this?"

"I thought as much," Catherine muttered before letting out a sigh.
"Hey, Cat, come on, give me a hand here." He requested before raising his hand toward her.
He wasn't panicking because he knew in his dream world but he still didn't want to know what drowning felt like.
Catherine accepted his request and helped drag him onto the canoe.
"Thank you."
"No need for that, you could have just kept yourself afloat like you were doing."
"Like I was doing?"
"Yeah, you were the one who created this whole place with your imagination and kept yourself afloat on the water this whole time."
"Hmmm….Well, that's a surprise." He uttered. "I guess I just needed somewhere nice to cool my head."
"Yeah, I already figured that out, the main issue now is if you will go back to normal after waking up, I still can't figure out what happened to you last night."
"Same here, I just kept flipping on and off, it was really weird, I remember everything I say and do but I have no control over it."
"If it continues today, then it's a problem and you have to go see the doctor, I hope it doesn't." Catherine articulated.
"I hope so too."
"Anyway, you have to get back now, it's morning so let's see how things turn out."
"Okay."
As soon as he said that, his body slowly began to disintegrate until he was no longer there.
It didn't take him long to wake up in the real world as soon as his body disappeared in his dream, and now he could see that his body was covered with a blanket and he had a pillow below his head.
"Wow, my head feels so much lighter compared to last night." He muttered with a yawn as he slowly sat up on the couch. "Hmm, something smells nice."
The nice smell was obviously coming from the kitchen.
<Hmm, so the pain is gone now?>
'Not entirely, I still feel a little numb in my head and my eye is feeling a little itchy.'
<Don't scratch it>
'I know, I'm not a child.'
"Oh, you're up."
He quickly turned his gaze to the kitchen area where he heard her voice come from to see that she was standing at the entrance now.
"Hey, good morning."
"Good morning, how are you feeling?" She asked as she slowly made her way to him.
"Better than last night for sure." He replied.
"That's huge news." She voiced with a bright smile on her face before slowly sitting beside him. "You got me seriously worried last night."
"Yeah, sorry I had to put you through that, I also owe Mateo a huge apology."
"Hey, there's no need for that, you didn't know what you were doing."
"Asking you what your name was was hilarious." The goalkeeper said with a chuckle before placing his hand on his forehead. "You must have flipped inside at that moment."
"To be honest, I sort of did but then I remembered what Mateo told me about one of your screws getting displaced. If you were to seriously ask me a question like that, I will punch you in the face."

"My fist will be waiting." She said with a straight face before suddenly bursting out with a chuckle.
"Seems like you're in a whole different mood this morning."
"I'm just glad that you're okay, last night was really something." She said before leaning closer to him.
It looked like she wanted to do something but then she suddenly pulled back from him.
"Umm, I think you should go upstairs and get your mouth cleaned." She suggested with an awkward expression on her face.
"Is it that bad?"
"Yeah, really bad." She responded with a nod.
"Oh." He muttered before quickly getting up from the couch. "I guess I should start heading upstairs now."
<I see you seem to be back to normal but you have to take things easily>
'Yeah, I know.' He replied subconsciously as he made his way upstairs.
"Just call me if you need anything!" Emma yelled from downstairs before she began to make her way back to the kitchen.
"I will."

On the other side of town, a whole lot of people could be seen gathered in front of someone's house with the aim of touching him or getting his autograph.
Mateo knew that this day was going to come one day and it was finally here.
He had to fight his way through the crowd to get to his car, and as soon as he got to it, he opened the door, entered inside, and slammed it shut before any of them could stick their heads or hands through.
He was safe now but driving out was still going to be a problem.
He had to slowly push them back as he tried to reverse with his car and they had to move back, and as soon as he got on the road, he cracked up the speed and zoomed.
"I guess it's finally time to make that move." He sighed.
