Chapter 191 Nancy Faces Bullying

Nancy barely slept the entire night, knowing that Nicholas was on a flight for over ten hours and his phone was

likely switched off. Still, she couldn’t resist checking for any messages,

Despite the lack of rest, Nancy greeted her work at the hospital the next day with great energy. The morning was

chaotic, leaving Nancy with hardly a moment to drink water.

Finally catching her breath after a busy morning, Nancy received a call from the hospital office, informing her that

and I love him deeply. It has nothing to do with his influence, status, or wealth. Even if you were a thousand times or

ten thousand times wealthier than him, I still wouldn’t be interested in you.”

“What did you say?”

This time, Julian was truly infuriated. He reached out, pinching Nancy’s chin.

With some space, Nancy immediately took a few deep breaths, then dialed Nicholas’ number.

As she made the call, Nancy still felt quite confident. Given the timing, he should have arrived by

now.

However, when the first call and the second call both went unanswered, Nancy started to feel

anxious.

“So, the lie unravels so quickly?” Julian stood aside, mocking.

Nancy held her phone tightly and continued to make the call.

However, after three calls, the results were all the same. The calls all went to voicemail.

Julian’s mockery grew. “I told you it was a lie, and lies are bound to be exposed.”

“I didn’t lie. He really is my boyfriend.” Nancy stubbornly resisted.

She bit her lip, looking at Julian with determination, her gaze unwavering.

Julian, however, grew increasingly angry at this look. He reached out, once again gripping Nancy’s chin. “Staring at

me won’t change anything. A lie is still a lie.”

“I’ll say it again, I didn’t lie.”

This time, Nancy’s tone was even more resolute and unyielding, without any trace of retreat.

This statement enraged Julian.
