Chapter 783 Molten Confrontation
"Hey, where's Azazel?" Elena asked, and they realized that Azazel was nowhere to be found.
"Where is Lord Azazel?" Vivi was equally bewildered as well.
"Lord Azazel?!" Desira shouted, voice filled with worry.
"Now what?!" Lorelai spat.
"There he is . . ." Evie pointed towards a spinning figure who was leaping and flying through the rocks, aiming for the enemy's general.
Infernal was occupied with Iraelyn, and he didn't notice another variable coming his way. With a powerful punch connecting to his jaw, he was sent flying into the air before crashing against the rocks.
Azazel let out a sharp roar as angry veins popped on his face. "DON'T HURT MY FRIENDS!"
His cry resonated through the battlefield, a jarring sound that reached every corner, causing a momentary pause in the intense battle.
The unexpected entrance of a new figure left everyone in stunned silence.
"W-who . . . who is that?" Salister stammered, taken aback as a boy appeared out of nowhere and landed a formidable blow on Infernal, sending him spiraling into the ground.
At the side, Malifira chuckled. "Looks like they're here."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"What? What?! Who's here?" Salister panicked and, upon looking behind them, he saw familiar faces. "Geh! Princess Lorelai and those brats! How did they get in here?! How did they manage to come this far?!"
"You know them?" Malifira inquired, her tone soft as a harp.
"Yes. They're the ones I told you about — the troublesome bunch back in the mortal realm," Salister explained. "That princess is bad news. We better eliminate her first. Her powers are our bane. She could easily kill us with her sword."
Malifira's eyes turned to slits as she pondered his words. "I don't care about your war. I just need the corruption. I will help you with the warlords, but creatures of the mortal realm are none of my concern."
"Ha?! What are you saying?" Salister couldn't believe his ears.
Malifira only offered a small, sly smile. "Let's not forget that I am no one's puppet. We have a blood contract, yes, but don't mistake that for friendship. I am still a warlord and your enemy. It's just that, for now, we're merely cooperating . . . temporarily."
"Y-you . . ." Salister was appalled and didn't know what to say.
"Hoi!" Azazel shouted, directing everyone's attention to him as he pointed at the approaching army. "If you want to die, then come at me. Leave Iraelyn alone! I will send you to hell as many times as you want!"
Azazel was shouting at the top of his lungs, his body wiggling in what seemed like a mix of excitement and agitation, resembling a hyperactive monkey.
"Who is that idiot?" Salister asked no one in particular.
"That's the Demon King," Malifira stated, her expression unreadable.
"The Demon King?" Salister was greatly baffled; the Demon King was thought to have already perished. "Are you joking me? He died long ago."
Malifira didn't offer any more explanation.
Infernal got up from the rubbles, his eyes narrowing at Azazel. "I see that we have a demon here who doesn't know his place!"
Azazel shouted back defiantly, "The only one who doesn't know his place here is you."
A collective gasp escaped from the onlookers as the young demon boldly proclaimed his disobedience, hurling insults at Infernal, a prominent figure among the powerful nobles in the Netherworld.
The audacity of this seemingly reckless act left everyone astonished. Did this kid have a death wish?
Infernal, demonstrating his imposing presence, rose to his feet with his tomahawk spinning menacingly in his hands. His orders were clear. "Capture that insolent demon alive! I intend to deal with him personally after I finished my fight with this dragon."
"Yes, sir!"
A section of the army diverted its attention towards Azazel, and the soldiers moved swiftly in his direction.
Meanwhile, Azazel was undeterred, and raised his hand, pointing dramatically at himself. "I will give you a chance to walk away from this fight! If not, you will face my wrath and you'll die a gruesome death!"
The soldiers exchanged puzzled glances, trying to comprehend Azazel's erratic behavior before breaking into laughter.
"Is he alright in the head?"
"What on earth is he talking about?"

"Don't mind his nonsense and get him!"
The soldiers charged at Azazel with reckless abandon, leaving him isolated amidst the enemy ranks.
"That idiot!" Ren couldn't help but feel exasperated. He wanted to slap Azazel left and right. "What is he doing?"
Azazel hadn't gained all his powers yet, and even with the corruption, he was still nowhere near his peak. With his reckless behavior, he might meet an untimely end.
Ren's frustration grew as he wondered what Azazel was thinking, surrounded by enemies on all sides.
Damn it! Ren gnashed his teeth, his concern for the story might end in his death overshadowing the chaos of the battlefield.
"Everyone, attack! Don't let Azazel die!" Ren ordered.
As Ren let out a thunderous roar that echoed through the fiery terrain, Elena and the rest of the group swiftly sprinted into their designated positions.
Each member focused on their assigned targets, ready to engage in the battle to protect Azazel and Iraelyn.
Desira and Vivi, moved accordingly, and darted towards Malifira. Their eyes locked onto their alchemist friend, and determined to knock some sense in to her.
Lorelai advanced toward Salister Kane. She equipped Demonsbane, a prelude to the storm that was about to unleash upon the trickster for what he did in the mortal realm.
Ren and Evie faced the daunting task of confronting the thousands-strong Rebellion Army. With their backs against the molten rocks, they prepared to take on an overwhelming force.
Elena positioned herself strategically, ensuring Azazel's safety as the two of them faced Infernal. Her task what to make sure that Azazel remained alive.
The volcanic landscape, with its cascading lava flows and ominous craters, served as the backdrop for this intense confrontation.
The air crackled with energy, and the ground trembled beneath their feet. The battle commence and only one side would emerged victorious in this clash.
