"I want to know the truth about me," Vincent said firmly. Although he was initially angry with her, he couldn't help but sense her genuine concern for him. As he looked at her expression, his emotions gradually began to settle.
Evangeline let out a heavy sigh, realizing that she could no longer delay the inevitable. She had hoped to buy more time, but Vincent was not one to be easily convinced when he set his mind on something. The truth had to be told, no matter how difficult it may be.
As she looked at him, her mind raced with fear and uncertainty. He was different, special, unlike anyone. He was an anomaly in the world of fate and prophecy, a variable that could disrupt everything she knew to be true. She had once saved him from his own predetermined fate, and now he was free from its binding chains, but at what cost?
Despite her apprehension, she knew that she needed to tell him some truth. She took a deep breath and met his gaze, her expression serious and resolute.
"Vincent, you deserve to know the truth about yourself," she said firmly, her voice unwavering. She made the decision to use his present name, hoping to avoid further provoking his anger.
"But I must warn you, your very existence is a threat to the balance of fate. You are not bound by destiny like the rest of us, and that makes you dangerous. Anything you do could have unpredictable consequences."
Evangeline's warning fell on deaf ears as Vincent was consumed with his desire to uncover the truth about his past. Fate be damned, he doesn't care about it at all.
With a heavy sigh, she began to narrate his life story, starting from his mundane existence as an average guy, to the accident that led to his coma, and finally to the discovery of his powers as a werewolf. Vincent listened intently, his confusion slowly giving way to a spark of recognition as some of her words triggered long-buried memories. However, while it was enough to stir a spark of recognition in him, it wasn't enough to fully allow him to remember everything.
As for the more important information, the kind that could shake the very foundations of his reality, Evangeline kept silent. She knew he wasn't ready yet, and that the truth could be too much for him to bear. He was still emotionally vulnerable and needed to become more powerful before she could disclose any more details to him.
"I have to see my buddy, Nathan," Vincent declared with determination after taking in all the information. He wasn't arguing with her anymore; he just wanted to see his best friend.
Evangeline's expression turned grim at the mention of Nathan's name. She knew something about his best friend fate, but it was too soon to reveal it.

"What are you talking about? Is Nathan in danger?" Vincent's eyes widened with concern.
Evangeline hesitated for a moment; her eyes fixed on Vincent's anxious expression. She knew that her next words could have grave consequences, but she also knew that Vincent needed some answers.
"Nathan... his father has been working for someone really dangerous. They're throwing him under the bus now so I'm sure they are secretly monitoring them."
Vincent raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"I don't see the problem in meeting him?" he questioned, not fully understanding the gravity of the situation. Now that he was stronger, he knew that he could defend himself, at the very least.
Evangeline shook her head, her expression grave.
"It's not that simple. If they see your golden eyes, they'll immediately connect you to me," she explained, her voice low. Vincent was her weakness right now.
He looked thoughtful for a moment before speaking again.
"I just need to see him. I just have to hide in plain sight." he stated firmly.
Evangeline hesitated for a moment, her mind searching for a possible solution. She knew that he was right, but the thought of him being exposed to their enemies made her heart race with fear.
"Alright, but we have to be careful. We can't risk anyone finding more out about you," she warned.
Newyork City
The white Mercedes Benz smoothly weaved through the bustling streets of New York; its windows tinted to obscure the passengers inside. The driver, a strikingly handsome man with sharp features and piercing black eyes, kept his focus on the road ahead as he navigated through the chaotic traffic.
Evangeline's warning rang in Vincent's mind, reminding him of the danger that surrounded the Wayne Family at every turn. He couldn't afford to let his guard down.
As the car pulled up to its destination, Vincent took a deep breath, steeling himself for whatever lay ahead. He had a feeling that this meeting would change everything, and he was ready to face it head-on.

Nathan has vacated his previous penthouse, which has already been sold due to the financial threats that the Wayne family was currently facing from various conglomerates and organizations. However, the Wayne family still has ample financial resources and has moved into their expansive mansion, where they are strategizing to reclaim their former position of power.
Inside Nathan Bedroom
This year had been a nightmare for him. He had been kidnapped, his best friend was missing, and his family's company had been lost. To add to his troubles, his fiancée had been forbidden from seeing him after her family cut ties with him, fearing they too would become targets.
Nathan yearned to question his father about the reason for their misfortunes, but Jonathan was adamant about not giving an explanation.

"May I know who is looking for me?" Nathan appeared with a tired and crestfallen expression on his face.
"He said he's an acquaintance of yours," she replied.
Nathan thought for a moment before deciding to check it out. He strolled down the hallway, wondering who could be visiting him without a prior call or text. In this day and age, most people would at least send a message beforehand.
As he entered the vast living room, Nathan spotted the broad back of his guest. There was something familiar about it, a sense of kinship that made his heart skip a beat.
"This feeling!" Nathan exclaimed.
"Buddy, Vincent!" he realized, recognizing his best friend just from seeing his back.
Nathan ran towards Vincent like an excited child, forgetting all about his recent troubles as he longed to embraced his long-lost friend.
Vincent couldn't help but smirk at Nathan's reaction.
"You haven't changed at all," he said, slowly turning around to face him.
Nathan was shocked to see Vincent's handsome face, but he didn't care how much he had changed. He just jumped and hugged him, feeling the rush of emotions that came with seeing his best friend again.
"What the hell, Buddy? I missed you so much!" Nathan exclaimed, his eyes turning red from the tears that threatened to spill.
"I miss you too, Nathan," he said as he hugged him back tightly, feeling emotional from their long-awaited reunion.
