Roy's sixth sense kicked in, and his body tensed up. 'Something's coming.'
His guess was right on the mark.
The very next moment, from the corner of his eyes, he saw thousands of black and putrid tentacles emerging from the ruins of Celestia below, each one emitting a foul wind of black and crimson.
He recognized it immediately as the toxic fumes of chaotic energy that he had read about in the history of Celestia.
'I can't get hit by these tentacles.' Roy immediately covered his entire body in a skin made out of Force.
Whoosh!
The tentacles moved at lightning speed, piercing through the air and coming straight for him.
"Damn! They are faster than me!" Roy exclaimed as he noticed that the tentacles were closing the gap rapidly.
"I need to do something. Teleportation should widen the distance between us!"
Without wasting a moment, Roy took out the void staff and activated its ability to teleport himself and his sword closer to the sky.
Clang!
His sword crashed against the sky, almost causing him to fall off of it.

A crack had appeared in the wall-like surface due to being hit by thunder.
However, it was far from getting destroyed.
Roy summoned Ghost Chaser, pouring aura into it to increase its weight to 15 tons, and brought it down on the crack with all his strength.
Clang!
The strike connected, causing the "Sky" of the southern underground sky to tremble and the crack on it to grow wider.
"How sturdy is it?! Hurry up and break for me!"
Roy continued to attack the sky frantically, causing the cracks to grow larger and deeper.
A sudden tug on his ankle startled him.
As he looked down, he was horrified to see a malicious tentacle coiling around his leg, tugging him towards the dark depths of the vortex that had appeared out of nowhere and swallowed the ruins of Celestia!
That place which was extremely big, was nowhere to be seen!
"Ugh!"
He groaned as the acrid fumes of chaotic energy emanating from the tentacles burned through the defensive force overlapping with his skin and seared his flesh, making it difficult for him to breathe.
To make matters worse, countless other tentacles were fast approaching, poised to attack him.
They were covered in the toxic fumes as the tentacle that had grabbed him. He didn't doubt that they would be able to bypass his defense and lash him to death!
The thought that he would die surprisingly didn't make him feel afraid.
Instead, it made him laugh.
He was laughing in the face of death out of anger and infuriation.
"I am not going down without a fight!"
Roy let out a deafening roar and delivered a powerful punch in their direction.
A blazing sea of fire erupted from his knuckles, engulfing the tentacles and reducing them to ash in an instant.
Within moments, the ominous threat was completely vanquished, or so he thought before hundreds of thousands of tentacles sprang out of the vortex and hurled everything they could grab from the forest towards Roy.
He was close to creating his own exit of the southern underground area of the ashen land, but he had to fly away from it to avoid the incoming projectiles, which thudded heavily against the crack in the sky, widening it.
'I can't afford this fight. There's no winning it.'
He could instinctively tell that he was no match for the unknown entity.
That meant that it was on the level of a Realm Lord.
If it had an inner-world manifestation technique, Roy would be wrecked!

Whoosh!
Then they launched themselves towards him with deadly speed. Roy skillfully wielded his sword as if he were a seasoned pilot, deftly maneuvering through the writhing mass of tentacles that seemed to fill the sky, effortlessly dodging their vicious attacks.
They turned around in mid-air, attacking him from behind.
He chopped in their direction with his hand. Hundreds of streaks of black aura lightning cut through the air, slicing them apart.
They fell into the vortex as Roy made his way back to the bundle of cracks in the sky and started attacking them relentlessly.
"Since they have failed to bring you to me, I will come for you myself, my love!" the mysterious entity said to Roy in a passionate tone.
Roy felt disgusted, hearing it call him its lover. He didn't know it, and he was sure it was a chaotic being, creatures he had vowed to kill!
He could feel something emerging from the vortex. Its very presence was enough to make chills run down his spine.
He, however, didn't bother looking back to see what it was, focusing only on breaking the "sky" and returning to the surface area of the Ashen Land.
He didn't know what he had missed!
The mysterious entity's had a voluptuous figure, which was breathtaking, with curves that could make any man weak at the knees. Her skin was a pale white, almost glowing in the dim light, and her hair was a deep shade of black, cascading down her back in waves.
She was dressed scantly, her modesty long thrown out of the door.
Her eyes were piercing, a bright blue that seemed to see right through you.
As she stepped in empty air and moved out of the vortex, her hips swayed seductively, and her full lips curved into a mischievous smile as she looked at Roy.
If one were to look carefully at her, one would discover that there was something unsettling about her, something that hinted at a darker side that lay just beneath the gorgeous surface.
It was impossible to look away from her, but equally impossible to shake the feeling that she was not entirely human!
