1795 Beyond Perfect Control

Kaisa was hurriedly retreating, her rage being replaced by fear. Her battle strength was quickly plummeting, but she also realized that her qi wasn't circulating like she wanted to. Unfortunately for her, her mind was in too much turmoil to realize that the issue wasn't just Ryu's Dao, but the armor on her.

This was precisely Ryu's second trump card.

There were two ways to create an army formation. The first was a circulation method. They would all circulate the stechnique and thus activate it when it resonated over a large enough region.

This was how things worked in the True Martial World, and this was the very smethod that Ryu had used back when he was helping out Mae's Dream Asura Clan.

But in this world, they clearly used armors.

Ryu was fascinated by this, but after he put one on, he already understood how it worked.

The armor was like an extension of your Meridians, connecting to the body in a symbiotic relationship.

The benefit of this was that you could both activate the formation and battle with your own Meridians at the stime. Of course, there were slimits to this, or else they wouldn't be forced to remain in the sformation, but it was still more flexible in this specific regard than True Martial World standards.

However, there was a fatal weakness to this.

Because the armor becan extension of the Meridian system, if it was impacted, it could cause clashes. This was why the armors could be easily detached in battle as well. Ryu didn't even have to put in much effort to take his own off.

One of the Dao Lords was actually Kaisa's cousin, twice removed. They had a distant, but not too distant, relationship. Because he wasn't in the main family line, he could only protect Kaisa like this, but he knew that his chances of becoming a Sovereign also hinged on her.

Even at injury to himself, he couldn't let her die.

He turned his body and tanked a blow with a shoulder. Then he quickly sent out an attack toward Ryu.

Ryu noticed this immediately. He had already activated Beyond Perfect Transcendent Control.

His body roared and thrummed as he sent a fist up to the skies.

The world looked like it was about to shatter, but beneath Beyond Perfect Transcendent Control, it was forcefully stabilized. With a rush, fist met fist, and the skies exploded.

Ryu coughed up a mouthful of blood and fell heavily to a single knee, but the result caused many eyes to open wide.

His gaze flashed with rage as he looked up and memorized the expression of the man up above, and he also felt that Commander Monk was truly too fucking useless.

He could sense that the Dao Lords wanted to take another shot at him, but he had no hesitation in his actions.

Since he couldn't take revenge on that Dao Lord for now, he would just have to make his heart bleed.

Ryu's aura soared, and the skies rumbled.
