Chapter 1377 Troublesome Woman
Mr. Moore and Mike exchanged glances, "What's going on with Mr. Perkins?"
"He had a quarrel with Miss Juliet."
After that, both of them sighed and stopped talking.
That night, Marcellus stayed at Red Cauldron until four in the morning. For the first two hours, he had been drinking
mostly alone. Later, someone who had heard the news came over to toast him. Usually, Marcellus would ignore
uninvited people like this, but today he was very generous and refused no one.
So, when the gathering finally ended at 4:30 in the morning, Marcellus was so drunk he couldn't walk and had to be
assisted by Mr. Moore to leave the private room.
He didn't go home, and he didn't even bother to clean up. He simply fell asleep in the small rest area inside his
office.
Lying on the bed, Marcellus reeked of alcohol and was muttering something under his breath. Mr. Moore leaned in

Was he cursing Miss Juliet?
It probably wasn't anyone else. Only Miss Juliet would linger in Marcellus' mind even when he was drunk.
Mr. Moore stayed by his side, helping him remove his shoes and clothes. By the time he had finally tucked Marcellus
in, it was already past five in the morning.
He hadn't gone home all night, and his wife and child were worried. Just as he was preparing to leave, he heard the
man on the bed whisper, "Cold..."
Cold?
With the heating in the room turned up, how could he be cold?
Mr. Moore moved closer and asked softly, "Mr. Perkins, are you feeling unwell?"
Marcellus didn't respond. The alcohol had made him quite hazy, but his hand was on his stomach, and he was
slightly curled up.
When he was young, he often drank alcohol for social purposes, and his irregular eating habits led to a stomach
condition. Given how much he drank last night, it was likely flaring up again.
He remembered there were stomach medicines stocked in the office. He brought over the medicine box, but
unfortunately, all the medicines were produced internally by Lane's Hospital, with no labels, only white bottles. He
simply couldn't understand which was which.
Seeing Marcellus in severe discomfort, Mr. Moore had no choice but to call Kevin early in the morning. Fortunately,
the latter picked up quickly.
"Hello?"
"Doctor Lane, it's me," said Mr. Moore very politely, "I'm sorry to disturb your rest, but Marcellus drank too much
last night and now he's having a severe stomachache. I opened the medicine box and don't know which one is the
stomach medicine."
Kevin woke up instantly, sitting on his bed and thinking for a moment before saying, "Is there a lightyellow bottle in
the medicine box?"
"There are two."

Mr. Moore found the medicine according to his instructions and thanked him profusely, "Got it, thank you."
Kevin asked out of concern, "What happened to Marcellus?"
"Mr. Perkins had a quarrel with Miss Juliet at the hospital last night. It seemed to be a big conflict between them.
They drank until four-thirty this morning."
Kevin was quite surprised, "He drank from last night until four-thirty this morning. Is that so?"
"Yes."
"He's playing with his life," Kevin knew Marcellus's stomach condition well---he could not drink alcohol excessively. A
little drink was fine, but last night, Marcellus was clearly venting his anger with his own health.
However, as a long-time friend, he also knew that Marcellus wouldn't listen to any advice right now.
"I understand. Let him take it on time, three times a day, one pill each time after meals, for a whole week."
"Understood, I'll relay the message."
After hanging up the call, Kevin was no longer sleepy. He glanced at the time---not yet half past five. He decided to
try his luck and called Evelyn.
Evelyn usually woke up early to go to the flower market. She had just opened her eyes when she answered the call,
"Kevin?"
"Evelyn, do you have Miss Juliet's phone number?"
