Chapter 1369 My Dad Is in Hospital
"You're absolutely heartless," Marcellus exaggerated deliberately, using this as a provocation.
Beryl ignored his nonsense, "I'm leaving now, drive carefully to the company."
Marcellus didn't stop her further. His eyes watched her as she hoisted her backpack, opened the car door, and
stepped out.
Seeing the young woman had already walked away, and the man whose eyes were still following her, Tomas had a
mocking smile on his lips, "Mr. Perkins, Miss Juliet is gone. Let's get going."
Hearing that, Marcellus finally gave up, sat up straight, and took out his phone from his pocket, staring intently at
the various data on the stock market.

was an emergency brake, and the car abruptly stopped, shaking several times.
Marcellus was startled by the sudden halt. If it weren't for his seat belt, he would have been thrown to the floor.
He frowned at Tomas's back of his head, "What's wrong?"
Tomas had been driving him for many years and had never even had a scrape, let alone an accident.
In contrast, Tomas wasn't exactly calm either. He glanced at the running woman in the rearview mirror, "Mr.
Perkins, Miss Juliet is chasing our car!"
Chasing the car!
Beryl was chasing his car!
Marcellus lazily turned his head to look. He initially thought that Tomas was mistaken, but when he really saw a
familiar petite figure, he was frozen for a moment.
It was really her!
Why was she chasing the car? If it weren't for Tomas mentioning it, he wouldn't have noticed at all.
While Marcellus was deep in thought, the petite figure in the mirror stopped running. She was panting heavily with
her hands on her knees.
Marcellus immediately instructed Tomas, "Reverse the car."
"Got it."
So, on this unusually narrow road, the Bentley stopped again beside her.
Beryl quickly grabbed the window, her face covered in tear streaks. Without waiting for him to speak, she hurriedly
said, "Marcellus, take me to the hospital."

As he spoke, the car door was already unlocked. Beryl got back in the car, her tight nerves finally finding a small
outlet, her anxiety slightly relieved.
Beryl, with red-rimmed eyes, shook her head, "Not me, it's my father. He suddenly had a cerebral hemorrhage and
has been admitted to the hospital."
Marcellus frowned, no wonder she was so anxious, it turned out a family member was in trouble.
"Which hospital?"
"Royal Hospital."
Seeing the girl's almost pale face, Marcellus took her interlocked hands, "Don't worry, it's very close.
Now I'll talk to the hospital director, Dean Anderson. Your father will be fine."
Although he didn't know how serious her father's condition was, Marcellus chose to comfort her.
After saying this, he immediately called Dean Anderson.
The phone was picked up quickly, "Mr. Perkins, how can I help you?"
Marcellus didn't bother with pleasantries, "A friend's parent needs a bed and surgery, please arrange it."
