Chapter 1366 Stop Being Such a Nuisance
Beryl could only repeat herself helplessly, "I'm going to school. I've got things to do at noon."
Marcellus raised an eyebrow, "Noon? Don't you guys have classes in the morning and afternoon? Do they hold
classes during lunchtime?"
Beryl never liked his skeptical attitude. No matter what she did, she always felt questioned. She gave him an
annoyed glance, "We have a club rehearsal at noon. Can't you stop making a fuss?"
When he heard about the club rehearsal, Marcellus let his worries down. But he didn't stop teasing, "Instead of
focusing on your studies, you're messing with clubs. They're just scams for freshers."
Sensing Beryl was about to rebut, he didn't wait for her to speak and simply pulled her closer in the next second,

Beryl could only follow him reluctantly. Sitting at the restaurant table, she watched helplessly as he dined at a
leisurely pace as if nothing could interrupt his meal.
Initially, Beryl felt stifled watching him. But as time passed, she found it interesting.
Not to mention, she never really observed Marcellus eating before. Upon closer inspection, he indeed had the air of
a nobleman, not because he was particularly fastidious, but because his demeanor was simply unlike ordinary
people.
Noticing her focused gaze, Marcellus raised an eyebrow and looked back at her, "Do you think you can get full by
watching me eat?"
He then pushed the remaining piece of sandwich toward her, "Eat it up."
"I'm not hungry."
"Have you had breakfast?"
Beryl shook her head honestly, "No."
Marcellus was speechless.
He clicked his tongue, "So when you say you're not hungry, are you teasing me?"
"I don't feel like eating," Beryl just wanted him to finish his meal so they could leave for school as soon as possible.
But the more she acted like this, the more displeased Marcellus became, "Eat it. You came to take care of me, I
can't let you go back to class hungry."
Seeing his insistence, Beryl didn't reject anymore. It was a waste of time to argue, better to just eat.
Marcellus chewed on the food in his mouth. Honestly, she was a pretty good cook. These past few days, she'd been

average. And it was a good accompaniment to rice.
The key point was that she cooked the meal. It made him happy.
Thinking of this, Marcellus couldn't help sharing some good news he heard from Kevin earlier.
"A patient my friend was in charge of finally woke up after a coma. The girl had been unconscious for over three
months due to injuries. Now, finally, we can breathe a sigh of relief."
It was the first time Marcellus had talked about his personal affairs with her. She'd seen Mr. Lane at a wedding, but
her memory of him wasn't deep. She only knew he was a doctor and a good friend of Marcellus's.
"Injured and unconscious for three months?" Beryl was a bit surprised, "That serious? It's good that she woke up."
"Isn't it? We were so anxious for this patient, my friend almost got depressed because of it," Marcellus said while
shaking his head, "The girl got injured because of a boy. She was so close to..."
He raised his hand, thumb and index finger almost touching, indicating just how close it was, "never wake up again."
Beryl found it hard to believe, "Because of a boy? Was he the one she liked?"
