Chapter 1306 In the Emergency Room
Sir. Lloyd had no strength left in his body. After taking so many painkillers, his body was almost numb. Even so, he
still tried his best to hold his hand back. "Now that you have Evelyn and Lucas by your side, I'm relieved. You have to
live a good life and treat them well so that they can accompany you for the rest of your life. Do you understand?"
These words were too much like the instructions he had received before his death, causing Huston to feel
extremely uncomfortable.
"You have to watch Lucas grow up. Don't say that."
Sir. Lloyd forced a smile and said, "Yes, I still have to watch the child grow up and listen to him call me Great
Grandfather for a few more years!"
It was rare for the two of them to meet in the hospital. Sir. Lloyd had told him a lot about the past and present.
There were many things that he knew and many things that he did not know. This moment was the closest to the

He seemed to be able to understand the hardships and sadness of the previous generation and how Sir. Lloyd
survived.
Sir. Lloyd was in good spirits when he spoke. At least, his voice was quite stable. Originally, he had thought that he
could make it through the night. It did not occur to him that Sir. Lloyd would feel so much pain in his heart when he
said those words.
At 2:30 a.m., just as Huston was about to rest on the lounge chair next to the bed, he suddenly heard an ear-
piercing beep from the instrument above his head.
He immediately woke up, opened his eyes, and went straight to the instrument. It was an instrument for testing
heartbeats and blood pressure. The screen that should have presented a folding pattern slowly walked in a straight
line.
He knew very well what it meant. His first reaction was to press the emergency button at the head of the bed.
In less than half a minute, the door of the ward was pushed open from the outside, and a group of nurses and
doctors in white coats and blue sterile suits rushed in.
Huston was pushed to the edge of the bed. He wanted to get closer but was stopped.
"Family member, please go out for a while. The patient is in a bad condition now and must be rescued!" A medical
staff stopped him and threw himself into the rescue the next second.
He quickly let go of Sir. Lloyd's bed and the instrument connected to his body temporarily came back to life. They
left the bed directly, and Huston followed them. From a distance, he saw Kevin standing at the door of the
emergency room.
"Huston, hold on."
This was the first and only sentence that Kevin had said to him.
After that, he changed his clothes and went in for emergency treatment.
The light on the wall of the emergency room lit up with a terrifying red light. Huston had seen this light too many

as the emergency light. At that time, he was a little flustered and disgusted.
The corridor was quiet, and the weirdly silent waiting was like an invisible big hand pressing his throat hard, which
was almost suffocating.
Someone informed the family members that half an hour later, Sir. Lloyd still hadn't come out. Cathy, Renee, and
Evelyn had all arrived. The only one who hadn't come was Sir. Lloyd's wife.
They stood outside the emergency room, and no one spoke. Cathy could no longer hold back her tears and began
to cry silently. Even Renee, who had always been ignorant, sat silently on a bench.
Evelyn walked up to the man. His face was particularly ugly, and his entire face was slightly swollen due to extreme
emotions. His eyes were black, and his lips were tinged with the color of pig liver. His hands were clenched tightly
into fists and hung at his sides. Just by looking at the arc of his back, one could feel that it was going to break.
Sir. Lloyd suddenly had an attack and was even sent to the emergency room. However, he was the one who stayed
by the bed.
