Emrys glanced at him silently.

Although Halvard was an accomplice, his crime was not severe enough to warrant death. Therefore,

Emys didn’t bother to take his life.

After a moment of deep thought, Emrys instructed, “Go now and tell Bernard that it was I who killed his

son. If he has any objections, let him come to the Langford residence. I’ll be waiting.”

same, once again falling slightly behind him.

Emrys had no choice but to slow down a bit, teasing with a smile, “Ms. Langford, at the rate we’re

going, Bernard might reach the Langford residence before us.”

Blanche’s face turned a slight shade of red.

Her mood had indeed relaxed quite a bit.

So, it turns out that Mr. Lund is still the same Mr. Lund.

residence?”
