“Yes.” Rachel looked at him and coaxed him softly. “We haven’t seen each other for at least three days. How can I

Rachel stretched out her arm and hooked it around his neck. She looked up at him, her clear almond–shaped eyes

sparkling with a smile. “It’s all because someone appeared at the wrong time just now and ruined my good mood

for nothing, causing me to say something wrong in a moment of distraction.”

Although she did not specify who that person was, David knew very well.

He reached out and caressed the woman’s soft lips. His deep gaze darkened and his Adam’s apple bobbed. “So?

head. He kissed her directly and sealed her lips.

The moment their lips touched, the longing that was suppressed in the bottom of her heart was like a flood that

broke through a dam. In an instant, the feeling surged from all directions and drowned Rachel.

The man’s cold aura lingered at the tip of her nose and wrapped around her tightly.

Rachel’s hand that was hooked around his neck slowly slid down. Her fingertips curled as she tightly gripped the

shirt in front of his chest. She raised her head and was forced to accept his kiss.

The passionate aura spread from the two of them and filled the entire back of the car.

The two of them gradually let go of each other before they lost their rationality.

Rachel sat on his lap. A strong arm wrapped around her slender waist.

“Not satisfied,” David said as he leaned forward and kissed her lips again.

Faced with his gentle attack, Rachel gradually became engrossed. Her skin felt the warmth of the man’s palm. It

was so hot that she could not help but tremble.

She reached out and pushed his shoulder hard. “Enough, enough…”

They were in the car, and the driver and Eddie were sitting in front.

David’s head was still buried in her neck. He gently caressed her tense back with his palm as he chuckled softly.

“What are you afraid of?”

Rachel cleared her throat with an unnatural expression on her face. She snorted softly. “What do I have to be afraid

of?”

“Is that so?” David’s deep and cold voice was hoarse and tinged with a hint of passion. He looked up at her with an

overly hot gaze. “If you’re not afraid, why are you so nervous?”

Caught off guard, she met the man’s dark and deep eyes. Her eyelashes fluttered. “W–who said I was nervous?”

She tidied her shirt and turned around to sit at the side.

Unexpectedly, David placed his hand on her legs and grabbed them.

Rachel sat back down on his lap. Her body suddenly stiffened when she felt something hard against the base of her

leg.

The blush on her cheeks burned all the way to her ears, and her heart pounded vigorously.

Just as the atmosphere became awkward, Rachel’s phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Linda. “Ms. Grey, we

just received a notice from the person in charge of the summit. He wants us to set off early tomorrow to Titia.”

Rachel did not expect the summit to be brought forward. She was a little surprised, but she quickly organized her

thoughts and said calmly, “Alright, I understand.”

After hanging up the phone, she looked up and met David’s deep eyes.

After opening the door, she got out of the car first without changing her expression. David followed closely behind.

The two of them walked into Sandalwood Hills.

“Mr. Jones, Miss Grey.” Mrs. Brown quickly came forward to greet them when she heard footsteps. “Mr. Jones, Miss

Waller has been waiting for a long time.”
