If this was a nightmare, Lilac wished for someone to wake her up, since she didn’t want to dream about

this man, especially when she didn’t have the energy to entertain him.

“What do you want?” Lilac asked tiredly, she wanted to close her eyes, but she needed to stay vigilant,

just in case this man was about to do something inappropriate again with her.

really couldn’t understand what was in his mind. This was not something an alpha should do, he didn’t

even try to keep his image and appearance at all, as he did whatever he liked without thinking what

other might think of him.

Something that no alpha should do, at the very least, that was what Lilac learned from luna Jasmine.

Yet, here he was. Hunter didn’t care much about such thing. He was so free and careless and probably

there was this small part of Lilac that envied him for that.

was not sure how long she would be in so much pain. She wanted this to be over.

widened her eyes when he saw Hunter drank some of the tonic..

“Drink more,” Lilac said, she had not yet convinced with what Hunter showed to her.

“You are really a pain in the ass,” Hunter grumbled. “If I drink it more, the effect will not really helpful

with you.”

“Drink more,” Lilac insisted and Hunter obliged, because from the look of it, this woman wouldn’t drink

anything if he didn’t do as per her request.

In the end, Hunter drank half of the tonic and helped Lilac to drink the rest. He carefully cradled her

head so she wouldn’t choke.

“See? You are still alive,” Hunter said in cheerful tone. “Now, I need to go, I hope to see you soon.”

However, before Lilac could say that she didn’t want to see him again, Hunter had leaned over and her

forehead and then he left as soon as possible before Lilac could yell at him for k*ssing her w

permission again.
