“What Are you doing?!” Lilac immediately pushed Hunter away from her, but she was too weak due to

the pain of the rejection that she did, but thankfully, the alpha lycan gave her space. It was actually not

a k*ss, but a simple peck.

Still, it was not appropriate for someone like him to do such thing. If Lilac was Aiden’s mate and their

relationship was a smooth sailing, what Hunter had done would cause a great dispute between two

packs.

This could be the reason the peace treaty could be broken. This thing was so fragile, especially when

things were still so tensed up among the alphas and the war between them was still very recent.

surrender gesture. He really didn’t have the quality to be the leader of the pack with his casual nature

and easy going personality like this.

“I don’t want to see you again,” Lilac hissed, but Hunter didn’t answer her, as he walked out of her

bedroom. yet she had this feeling the alpha lycan would appear in front of her sooner or later.

Currently, Lilac didn’t want to think about that, because she needed to rest, the pain was so extreme,

she felt like someone just twisted a rusty knife against her chest.

She knew it would be painful, but there was nothing could prepare her for this agony.

Lilac remembered the disbelieve in Aiden’s eyes and how the pain hit him so hard, but he still could

withstand it.

Of course, he was a warrior after all, this kind of pain must be bearable for him. He could endure it just

fine.

And with that, Lilac fell sick for three days straight, in which Aria came to visit her and check on her

condition. Luna Jasmine also came to see her, but because most of the time Lilac would be sleeping,

there was not much that she could do or say to her.

“Let me know if she woke up and fit enough to be in the presence of other people,” luna Jasmine

instructed Aria. She told her to stay by Lilac’s side and she was free from her duty as the omega of the

pack, because her main focus right now was to nurse Lilac back to her health.

Meanwhile, Aiden were being scolded harshly by alpha James to cause this trouble,

condition and he wanted to make sure that fucking lycan stayed away from her,

He still could feel the pain, but because his b*dy was built differently, it was still bearable, more so, the

feeling still lingered, which meant, it still could be fixed. They could work on it and fix it only if Lilac

wanted it.

And Aiden was sure, if he got a chance to talk with her, he could convince her to take back the

rejection.

“And then what?! Get her killed?! That’s what you want?!” Alpha James roared angrily and luna

Jasmine immediately came to his side to calm him down. “Can you be more senseless than this?! You

have caused so much trouble when you created a ruckus in the main hall!”

pack was, since he had impregnated another woman, who was not his mate and wanted to banish his

own mate out of the pack.
