Chapter 3247 - Born Again
Myriadpath Valley wouldn’t develop talents in the outer mundi. However, Tianming needed sentient life to grow stronger. All along, he had assumed that the Myriadpath Sourcespring could only save lives, but now Li Fan had told him otherwise. It could also turn people into normal gods.
"Won’t I be even more powerful if I regain all my omnisentient threads?"
Tianming couldn't delay any longer. The astral gods were about to lose control of the situation. Those on the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb had fallen for far too long and were on the brink of a disaster.
"Let’s begin!"
Under the eager eyes of the astral gods, Tianming pulled out a keg. He had learned how to use the springwater from Suishen Zhao. All he had to do was open it, jump in, seal it back up, and take a long soak.
Suishen Zhao never would have imagined that Tianming would give the springwater to his people. Tianming was extremely careful as the keg was meant for the entire sun. As soon as he cracked it open, he caught a whiff of a faint fragrance that almost intoxicated him. He stared wide-eyed as a cloud of mist poured out of the keg and blended into the nova source in the air, circulating through the nova source and spreading out the springwater.
"It smells so good!"
Wudi and others around him were also intoxicated by the fragrance.

Its rate of evaporation was so high that the springwater level in the keg fell in no tat all. Tianming immediately closed the keg and anxiously looked around. The astral gods beside him were just as nervous. The springwater was invisible once it entered the air, so nothing could be seen for the tbeing.
However, its fragrance filled the entire astralship. The Yin Chens spread out all over the tomb also reported smelling the fragrance in every corner.
“Is it working?"
"Watch carefully...."
"Heavens bless us all...."
Hearts pounding, Xiaodao, Lin Xiao and the rest waited with bated breath, too afraid to look. Tianming's grandfather, Wei Tiancang, was the 'mortal' closest to him! His face and skin were red, his eyes were bloodshot, his mouth was open, and his tongue hung down. It was a sign of advanced red dust poisoning.
At that moment, Tianming heard a buzzing noise emanating from Wei Tiancang's body. As the bloody tinge throughout his body rapidly changed, going from red to white and back to red again, he suddenly fell to the ground, trembling and twitching.
"Grandfather!"
Tianming wanted to rush up to him, but Wudi held him back. "He’s fine!"
Although the worry and anxiety messed with his head, Tianming carefully observed Wei Tiancang upon hearing Wudi’s words and realized that the buzzing sounded like something was panicking and trying to escape. The twitching was quite possibly due to the power of the springwater flooding Wei Tiancang's body, and the change in his skin color was very obvious. More importantly, his wrinkled skin becmore youthful, as if he was born again. Even his face was completely transformed so he looked more and more like Wei Tianxiong and Wei Zikun, not unlike a middle-aged man.
And all of it happened in an instant!
Wei Tiancang suddenly spewed a mouthful of blood, which was entirely solid and full of red dust. It fled in fear the moment it left his body, but burst into red flames and was obliterated before it could make it very far because there was an even higher concentration of the springwater in the air.
There was no escape.
Those around Tianming who were affected by the red dust began experiencing the sthing. Soon, a similar reaction occurred throughout the ship. In the deepest part of the tomb, Moran and her sisters started writhing like Wei Tiancang. Although it was a terrifying sight, Tianming was ecstatic to see them regain their youth and vitality. His heart thundered in his chest.
“Grandfather!”
He approached the once unyielding old man. Due to Lifesbane, Wei Tiancang’s hair was still gray, but it had a glossy sheen. He was full of vigor and looked like he would live many more years. There wasn’t a trace of red dust on his body. However, Tianming was worried as Wei Tiancang’s eyes remained closed.
Then his eyes suddenly opened and stared right at Tianming, filling up with tears in an instant. "Tianming!" he excitedly shouted.

"I’m good, I’m very good! I feel a hundred times more energetic than before!" Wei Tiancang said, shedding tears as he tightly grasped Tianming's hand. Although he was much younger now, Tianming saw the changes in his eyes.
Those born in the Flameyellow Continent didn’t have the long lifespan of the higher life forms of Myriadpath Valley and Ebonia, and would have an elder’s mindset by the tthey reached seventy or eighty years old. Although his grandfather retained the smentality, Tianming was pleased to find that his physique had improved by leaps and bounds. The springwater even surpassed the effect of the Flameyellow Bloodsoul, which gave Wei Tiancang the opportunity to reach new heights, but that wasn’t to say that the latter wasn’t as good as the former. The effect of the Myriadpath Sourcespring was more direct, while the Flameyellow Bloodsoul hadn’t been completely integrated yet.
"Grandfather...." After examining his body, Tianming found that he had fully recovered and escaped the disaster.
"It’s been over ten years.... I survived! Child, your beneficence knows no bounds!" Wei Tiancang couldn't help but cry.
"Over ten years?" Tianming froze. “Grandfather, have you been conscious this entire time?"
"Of course. I could still think and feel everything, but I couldn't control my body. Not even my mouth or eyebrows. It was horrible to just watch the world fall," Wei Tiancang said.
"I was right. Their bodies were taken over, but their souls remained clear," said Li Fan.
"Is that so?" Tianming had to admit that the people of Ebonia and the Sun had suffered more than he’d imagined.
For over ten years, they could only watch, unable to control themselves. What a terrible punishment it was to be conscious for every second of every day, an onlooker for hundreds of years until the body gradually decayed.
Not even Tianming could bear the idea of that.
