Grey didn't give the Beast the chance to attack his friends, he made the first move, striking out with a casual attack to draw its attention.
The Beast focused on Grey, attacking him with a light beam.
Grey felt all his hairs standing on edge when he sensed the power behind the light beam. If he was hit by it, he was certain the damage he would take was more than enough to severely injure him.
With this thought in mind, he ensured to be extra careful. He didn't want to be struck by any of this Magical Beast's attacks. The Beast wasn't too fast. It was a large Bull with blank eyes. It didn't give him any chances as it continued attacking him.
Grey dodged all its attacks as he tried to make sure he didn't allow it to attack his friends who were focused on fighting one versus two with the exception of Void. But the person Void was fighting against was the strongest, so it was understandable.
The man who recognized Grey was very close to the Second stage, so his strength was not something to joke about. Even without his puppet, he was still very powerful. But of course, he was easily overpowered by Void.
Void was someone that could fight against a true Second stage Sovereign, so fighting against one that hasn't even gotten there yet wasn't a problem for him.
The man tried to fight back, but he was constantly being forced back. He gritted his teeth as he tried to draw the Bull to their side so it could force Void and the others to fight with it. However, the second the Bull looks away from Grey, Grey would use an attack that would cause some damage to the Bull.
The Bull might be dead, but being continuously injured, even though the injuries weren't strong, would start impeding its strength.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe Bull was forced to turn to Grey after being hit by a fusion orb that contained only three elements. Creating fusion orbs has become very easy for Grey at the moment. He could make them without any stress, and the fewer the elements, the easier it is to create.
Since he wanted to attack in an instant, he opted for a three elemental fusion orb. This attack was enough to cut part of the Bulls left hind leg. He wanted to take away the Bull's ability to move. Once that's sorted, the Bull wouldn't be hard to deal with. Luckily, the Bull isn't alive, so it wasn't smart enough to avoid these attacks.
This was the disadvantage of having such a puppet. With no one there to control it. It could easily be taken down by a calm and collected individual like Grey.
The man who recognized Grey felt angered when he realized what Grey was doing, he smiled and secretly tried to create a link with the Bull.
However, he sensed Grey was prepared for this and the moment his consciousness got close to the Bull, he felt a life-threatening danger that made him retreat hastily. When he looked at Grey's face, he saw visible disappointment. It was as if Grey was trying to bait him into creating a link with the Bull so he could kill him in an instant like he did to the old man who brought out his puppet at the start.
Luckily, his intuition saved him. He heaved a sigh of relief as he was blasted into a wall by Void's attack.
Void wasn't going easy on him as he attacked to kill. The man knew Void wanted to kill him, but he was confident in his ability to survive.
He couldn't help but look at the duo who were fighting with Klaus, and he felt disgusted at their weakness. Even two against one, they were still being forced back by a kid. He looked at the other two fighting Reynolds and they were in an even sorrier condition. They were both injured, and from how things looked, they would probably die under Reynolds' attacks.
The man looked at the armor Reynolds had on and felt it was odd.
'He had an Elemental Warrior. How come he's not using it? Don't tell me he learned to merge with it.'
The man was assessing the whole situation while fighting with Void. He might be weaker, it doesn't mean he couldn't take time out to assess the situation. Grey and his friends were very famous for their cultivation speed. From the looks of things, they've shattered the record for fastest to break through to the Sovereign Plane.
The fact that they were all in their twenties yet has achieved so much was mind-blowing. The man didn't know what to think, but he knew at the moment, they were in a precarious position.
Grey looked to be on the verge of taking the stupid Bull down. Reynolds and Klaus also looked to be on the verge of beating their opponents. He wasn't faring well against Void as well, which meant there's a good chance that they will all die today.
'We can't die like this!' He yelled internally.
He didn't want to die, but from how things were going, he knew the chances of escaping were slim. If the others sacrificed themselves, then there's a good chance he would be able to escape. But will they agree to it?
"Help me escape, I have to warn the other hideouts that Grey Dawson has a way to locate our hideouts." He screamed to the other four.
The other four didn't respond immediately.
"Quick! If not, we'll all die here!" The man tried to convince them, "I promise to look after your families."
The man continued saying as he blocked Void's attack.
The other four quickly came to a conclusion, "Don't go back on your words."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThey could already see that there was no escaping from this place. The duo who were fighting Klaus thought they were having it better when they first saw Reynolds' explosive strength and how easy it was for him to injure his opponents, but as the battle continued, they noticed compared to the others, they were moving relatively slower than how they used to. They quickly realized Klaus was slowing them down. They didn't even notice it until it was too late.
Klaus was a devious person to battle against. His defenses makes it almost impossible to land a hit on him, yet due to their dwindling speed, they would be open to his attacks. These types of people were the absolute worst to fight against. They were too cunning.
"Before you die, make sure to mark them!" The man who would be escaping added.
The four nodded. They knew their fates were decided, the best they could do is make life worse for the people who killed them.
Grey frowned as he cut off the second hind leg of the Bull. With both hindlegs gone, the Bull lost its balance and fell to the ground. Without hesitation, he switched places with Void and struck out with a palm.
The man didn't expect Grey to appear in such a manner, he tried to block the attack, but he noticed Grey's casual strike shattered the bones on both his hands. Not just that, but the force sent him flying.
"Void, deal with the Bull. Also, kill them before they can use that disgusting move." Grey forced the man out of the building and went after him.He didn't want any of them to escape. He contacted the bunny leader and said, don't kill anyone, just make sure they don't escape. He knew how difficult it was to block that mark, but with his current knowledge, he was sure he could block it. However, he didn't know if his friends would be able to do this. So he needed the escaping Necromancers so he could wipe off the marks in case they were marked.
The man felt his heart sink with Grey placing his focus on him. There was no way he could fight against Grey. Unlike Void, Grey was stronger and was just too smart.
Void was only overpowering him, Grey on the other hand was making it impossible for him to even use his darkness element. He doesn't know how Grey was doing it, but he felt like his life was no longer in his hands.
The thought of escaping left his head as he fought with everything he had. A puppet appeared and exploded.
To his shock, the impact he expected didn't happen, rather, the explosion was contained with an ice domain.
Grey used his ice domain to contain the attack to make sure it didn't affect him. His body was covered with red lightning as he flashed through the sky, landing hit after hit on the man's body.
The man could barely defend against Grey. In a matter of a minute, he lost one arm. He was severely injured, and could feel pain all over his body.
