Chapter 366
Why would you even ask that?” Zane said, lifting an eyebrow in surprise.
“Seriously, if I'm your niece, why haven't you toldanything about how things are going with Elysia? It's had
enough that you're keeping secrets. And then you just go off to find her without even invitingalong?” Alice
replied, frustration coloring her tone.
Zane paused, ruffling her hair gently. “If you know you'll be a bother, then why are you trying to tag along?”
With that, he turned on his heel and walked away.
Alice stood there, watching Zane’s back with her face scrunched up in annoyance. “Zane, that’s so unfair”
Zane didn’t respond, not even glancing back.
The group had left Sivro early that morning and finally arrived in Durinville that afternoon. Instead of going
straight to the Hartley residence, they decided to stop at the hotel first.
Zane had arranged everything in advance-a makeup artist and a styling team were ready to work. As they
stepped out of the vehicle, they saw a crowd waiting for them outside the hotel.
Seeing them, a guy with thick glasses rushed over and said with excitement in his voice, “Mr. Hartley, welcome!
We've been waiting for you. Everything is set!”
“Got it,” Zane replied, nodding.
Noticing Zane’s approval, the guy turned to the two women beside Zane and made a slight bow. “Mr. Hartley,
Ms. Evans, Ms. Rogers, please follow me!”
He led them inside the hotel, the rest of the group trailing behind.
They reached the temporary makeup room, and Elysia sat in front of a large mirror. A talented makeup artist
named Kalinda was about to begin her work.
Alice also had someone getting her makeup done. While the artist wasn’t quite as skilled as Kalinda, she was still
doing a good job.
“Ms. Evans, your skin is flawless! So smooth and perfect. You are hands down the best client I've ever worked
with,” Kalinda said, resting her hand gently on Elysia’s shoulder as she admired her reflection.
Elysia simply smiled in response, not saying much.
Now, Ms. Evans, I'll go for a light makeup look for you. Just a little touch-up, okay?” Kalinda continued, preparing
her brushes.

“Sounds great,” Elysia nodded.
With Elysia’s approval, Kalinda began applying makeup, quickly transforming Elysia with a simple yet elegant
look that highlighted her natural beauty.
“Wow! You look absolutely stunning!” Kalinda said, gazing at Elysia’s reflection like she was admiring a
masterpiece.
Alice had finished her makeup too, opting for a lighter style just like Elysia. But as soon as she caught sight of
Elysia, she was completely blown away.
Though she had seen Elysia all glammed up before, this twas different; she couldn't help but be amazed all
over again.

Elysia’s skin was already perfect, and the makeup just made her look even more exquisite.

Noticing the stunned look on Alice's face, Elysia grinned playfully. “What's the matter? You look like you've seen
a ghost!”
“No, no! You just look so beautiful, Elysia. If | were a guy, I'd definitely be into you,” Alice said, shaking her head
in disbelief. “Honestly, even as a girl, | can’t take my eyes off you!”
Elysia couldn’t help but smile. Just as she was about to say something, Archer, the stylist, walked in holding a
sky-blue dress. He halted in his tracks, looking completely stunned, as though his feet were glued to the floor.
In his eyes, Elysia was absolutely breathtaking.
Every tshe smiled or frowned, it seemed to bring everything around her to life. It felt unreal that someone
like her could exist.
“Archer, what are you standing there for? Get that dress to Ms. Evans, now!” Kalinda called out.
Hearing Kalinda’s voice snapped Archer back to reality. Realizing he had been staring, he quickly said, “Sorry. Ms.
Evans”
He stepped forward and gently handed the dress to Elysia.
Elysia looked down at the beautiful sky-blue gown. It was the sone they had brought with them to Sivro.
After changing into the dress, she styled her hair simply yet elegantly. The whole look exuded sophistication,
making everyone gasp in awe.
What might look plain on anyone else into something stunning on her. Elysia truly had a magical presence.
Just then, Alice made her entrance, looking lovely in a light pink sleeveless dress. It fit her perfectly at the waist
and had a cute ruffled hem, capturing her youthful spirit just right.
When Alice saw Elysia again, she felt her breath catch.
Elysia was simply stunning. At that moment, Alice thought she looked like a graceful mermaid.
Still, something seemed off to Alice.
Spotting a sparkly hair accessory on the table, she quickly darted over to grab it. She wanted to place it on
Elysia’s head but realized she wasn’t tall enough. Then Alice asked her to bend down a little.
Elysia nodded, bending down to make it easier for Alice. Carefully, Alice placed the accessory on Elysia’s head, a
satisfied smile spreading across her face.
Nearby, the others admired the new touch. Without the accessory, Elysia’s hair had looked a little empty, but
now it was absolutely perfect.
Once everyone was ready, they opened the door and stepped outside. Zane was waiting just outside.
He wore a sharp suit with blue and white stripes that perfectly matched Elysia’s dress.
Zane stared at Elysia, momentarily lost in thought. Deep down, he didn’t want her to look so revealing.
But honestly, the dress wasn’t too revealing. It showed only her shoulders, while the gown covered her legs
down to the knees, leaving just a small bit of her ankles exposed.
“Zane, what are you thinking about?” Elysia asked.
Zane blinked, a slight smile appearing on his face. “Oh, nothing.”

He stepped forward, bending his elbow slightly and inviting Elysia to link arms with him.
Elysia slipped her arm through his. Together, they began to walk, with Alice following closely behind.
“Wow, Ms. Evans and Mr. Hartley really look like a great couple,” Kalinda said, her eyes shining as she watched
them walk
away.
“Totally! They really match well. Ms. Evans is even more beautiful than those movie stars,” Archer chimed in,
nodding thoughtfully.
“Exactly! They really do make a cute pair,” Kalinda agreed enthusiastically.
Kalinda and Archer had a solid point. As Zane and Elysia made their way from the hotel to the entrance, every
passerby couldn’t help but stop and stare at them. A flicker of envy danced in their eyes.
Once they stepped out of the hotel, Barry was already waiting for them outside. As soon as he saw them coming,
he quickly opened the car door with a smile.
For Elysia, this was her first visit to Durinville. The scenery outside was certainly more fashionable than Sivro, but
it didn’t feel all that different to Jorlandia. In truth, the sights were quite similar.
To her, what truly mattered about a city wasn't its glamor. It was about the people she loved who lived there.
The car wound its way up the hillside. The higher they climbed, the more luxury cars filled the roadside, lined up
like shiny jewels.
Finally, they pulled up in front of a stunning villa. Zane was the first to hop out of the car. He extended his hand
to help Elysia down.
Barry stayed behind, carefully parking the car in the underground garage of the Hartley residence.
Zane led the way as they entered the villa. The path before them was neat and lined with freshly trimmed
flowers and lush greenery, Everything looked inviting.
As they walked further, they spotted a red carpet ahead. Elysia linked her arm with Zane’s while Alice followed
closely beside them. Together, they stepped into the view of the guests.
People were chatting animatedly, and sheld sparkling glasses, ready to take a sip. The moment they noticed
Zane and Elysia, a hush fell over the crowd.
All eyes turned to Zane and Elysia. One guest, clearly surprised, blinked and asked, “Wait, did Mr. Hartley bring a
date?”
