Chapter 475 He gently picked up the child and slipped out of the hospital room without Adah noticing a thing.
Nathan's eyes went wide with shock when he saw this play out on the screen.
"This is fake! Turn it off, now-turn it off!" he shouted, lunging for the remote, but the security guards held him back firmly.
The footage on the big screen suddenly shifted, cutting to a scene at an orphanage.
On a pitch-black night, Nathan abandoned Claire at the orphanage's doorstep. Towering over the tiny newborn, he sneered cruelly. "If you weren't still useful to me, I'd feed you to the dogs," he spat. "When you're older, if your kidney matches Sophia's, I'll take it out and give it to her myself." With those venomous words, Nathan scoffed, climbed into his car, and sped away.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNathan's heart plummeted. It was over-completely over.
After everyone in the hall watched the two videos, the way they looked at Nathan changed utterly. There was no trace of sympathy left-only disgust and fury.
"So everything he just said was a lie. He just wanted to use public opinion to threaten the Tempest family." "He actually tried to use us as pawns for his own gain." "I've never met anyone so vicious. He's a disgrace of a father." While everyone pointed and whispered in outrage, Adah suddenly appeared.
She stormed up to Nathan and, without a word, slapped him hard across the face twice.
"Nathan, you're not even human. I should beat you senseless!" she screamed, her sharp nails raking wildly across Nathan's face. In seconds, angry red scratches bloomed across his skin.
"Adah, you're insane! Get off me!" Nathan yelled, trying to shove her away.
"You disgusting excuse for a man," Adah spat back. "What right do you have to take Claire? She's my daughter- she has nothing to do with a scumbag like you!" "Watch your mouth! She's my blood too!" Nathan shot back.
"I'll file for divorce as soon as we leave!" Adah shouted.
Nathan sneered. "Go ahead-don't think you'll get custody of our daughter." The two of them fell on each other like wild animals, knocking wine glasses and pastries to the floor in their furious struggle.
Mr. and Mrs. Tempest watched in disbelief, veins bulging in anger.
This was supposed to be Claire's graduation party-a moment they'd carefully planned and looked forward to. Now, it was ruined, just like her birthday party nearly had been before. This time, the chaos was even worse.
sŵ "Someone, throw them out!" Mr. Tempest barked.

Adah fought desperately. "Letgo! I'm here to see my daughter!" she cried, "Tempests, Nathan stole Claire from me-he's the real criminal here! I've always love - ne Claire, from the very beginning. You have no right to keepfrom my own child!" Mr. and Mrs. Tempest hesitated. Much as they disliked Adah, she wasn't wrong- she was a victim too.
The couple turned to Claire.
"Claire... do you want to go hwith your birth mother?" Mr. Tempest asked softly.
Adah's eyes brimmed with hope as she looked at Claire. "Claire, believe me-my love for youy's just as deep as love any mother's. Chwith me, sweetheart. I promise, l'give you all the love I have." Claire glanced at Adah with cool indifference, then turned to the Tempests.
"Dad, Mom, I'd like to say something to them. Is that okay?" she asked.
Mrs. Tempest gently stroked Claire's hair. "Whatever you want to say, go apead, sweetheart."
No matter how much it hurt to let her go, they knew-Adah was Claire's Wanted ther. If Claire truly to leave with her, they would have to respect her choice.
