Chapter 311:

Belinda frowned, her gaze instinctively shifting toward the entrance. Several men dressed in black crowded in,

their presence overwhelming the small space.

They wore the soutfits as the men who had pursued Fred at Nawrin University the night before.

A wave of realization crashed over Belinda, and she grasped the full extent of Jessa’s plan.

Gripping the phone tightly, she instinctively retreated. “You...”

Jessa’s voice turned icy as she issued her command, “What are you waiting for? Take it from her!”

Her tone was harsh and authoritative. “Don’t hold back. Just don’t kill her. Miss Miller will have our backs!

Remember, many of your friends suffered last night because of her!”

As Jessa spoke, the men in black stormed into the repair shop. The timid owner, overcwith fear, scurried

into the back room and locked the door.

Belinda watched as the burly men advanced toward her, her legs trembling uncontrollably.

Despite her fear, she gripped her phone tightly, her feet instinctively backing away. “You... Stay back!” she cried

out, her voice filled with panic.

In that moment, she understood that her efforts to resist were futile. Yet, in a desperate move, she secretly slid

her hand into her pocket and clutched the phone tightly. “She’s calling the cops!”

Jessa, observant and quick, spotted Belinda’s subtle move and shouted a warning.

No sooner had Jessa’s warning echoed in the air than one of the men kicked Belinda, sending her crashing

against the wall with brutal force. The collision with the cold, hard wall drained the color from Belinda’s face,

leaving her in agony.

The men in black quickly surrounded her, kicking and hitting her as they forcefully pried her fingers open to seize

the phone.

“No...” Belinda groaned, enduring the overwhelming pain. She struggled to rise and reclaim her phone but was

met with relentless, harsh blows.

Finally, Jessa, holding the two identical phones, approached the beaten woman. She crouched down mockingly

and stared into Belinda’s bloodied face. “Trying to outsmart me? You should have known better. Now, I'm taking

both phones,” she taunted.

Jessa and her team of men in black left in triumph.

Belinda remained on the floor, her body marked by bruises, watching them fade into the distance as a sense of

despair settled in her heart.

Suddenly, her phone began to ring.

Exhausted, she lacked the strength to rise, so she dragged herself across the floor, struggling to reach her phone

after what felt like an eternity.

It was Kristopher on the other end.

As Belinda caught sight of the familiar non the screen, her heart momentarily leapt, despite the pain

racking her body.

She swiftly answered the call, clinging to it as if it were her only hope. “Kristopher, I—"

“Belinda,” Kristopher’s voice interrupted, cold and detached, not acknowledging the pain and frailty in her tone.

“The rumors about Cathy that Fred sparked last night are swirling online again. Was that your doing?”
