Sebastian replied, "I don't care about Nadine's past. I only care about her present and future. If you keep using her past to threaten her, you will end up getting kicked out of Janctera City. You know I have the power to do that.
"I can choose to let you live peacefully, or I can choose to make your life difficult. You know exactly what I mean." Noticing the slight worry in Nadine's eyes, Sebastian moved to comfort her. He gently patted the top of her head, his eyes brimming with tenderness.
