It was supposed to be a happy thing, but the child beca variant, and luck seemed to have left her that day

"Meseline's death and the trauma it brought Frederick are the regrets | can never rectify! It's my fault for not

being a good husband, a good father! Both my wives, when | decided to marry you two, | loved with my whole

heart! Even if | didn't love as much, the love and responsibility were still the same. The rules of the Clements

Returning home, Alicia brought the medical kit out only to see Frederick sit on the edge of the bed, still looking

like a statue. The event earlier must've shaken him to his core. Quietly and even worried about startling him,

Alicia rolled up his sleeve gently and wiped his arm with a damp towel before applying the ointment!

Coming back to reality as he felt the stinging sensation, Frederick pulled her hand and dragged her into his lap,

nuzzling his head on her neck in search of warmth.

Hugging him, Alicia kissed him gently in his hair. "Surprised, huh?"

She really didn't expect Penny and Gary to go way back. The two looked almost like strangers on the surface;

they didn't even talk during family gatherings, and she never thought there was anything strange between the

two. Even more surprising, she actually used to have such an affectionate and selfless side!

The world sure was a melting pot. Everyone was as pure as the driven snow when they first entered, but no one

will ever know how they would look when leaving. If the accident never happened, Christian and Penny would

still be living happily, wouldn't they? In all honesty, she could tell there was still love between the two! Alas, with

one mistake, everything was ruined!

been a family for years still. He could tell his father aged in a heartbeat. He wasn't that at all happy about how

Cupping his cheeks, Alicia placed a gentle kiss on the tip of his nose.

"Hubby, everyone has to be

responsible for their actions, no? You couldn't have done anything about all that, nor were they your fault! You

really don't have to feel guilty! Nothing can be kept a secret forever. Dad will know eventually, and he'll have to

face it too! This may not have been the best way to learn about the secret, but he accepted it at least. And it has

given him more tto think. As for what happens in the future, leave it for

him to decide!"
