There were still four hours until his flight took off.
He had plenty of time.
"Taketo Rosewood Gardens," he suddenly ordered. The driver, caught off guard for a moment, quickly made a turn at the next intersection.
When the car arrived at Rosewood Gardens, Aaron stepped out.
The staff, seeing him return, promptly greeted him with a "Good evening, Mr. Vance." Aaron didn't respond, instead striding quickly toward Serena's room.

Seeing it packed with clothes, he exhaled a sigh of relief.
The clothes were still there, suggesting Serena hadn't left.

"What's up?" he answered.
"Aaron, Cynthia's condition is worsening. We need to expedite the kidney transplant, but we still haven't found a suitable donor..." Aaron pinched the bridge of his nose. "I'll contact the hospital director and ensure they find a suitable donor quickly." Matthew seemed to want to say more, but Aaron had already ended the call.
He glanced at the wardrobe one last tbefore leaving the room to call the hospital director.
At the hospital, Matthew looked apologetically at Cynthia Lynwood lying on the bed. "I'm sorry, Cynthia. I tried to tell Aaron to come, but he hung up before I could." Cynthia, pale and frail on the bed, gave a weak shake of her head. "It's okay, Aaron's busy. I understand." "You..." Matthew hesitated, "Cynthia, you really are too understanding." Cynthia mustered a small smile, though her eyes were filled with a steely resolve.
