Chapter 255 A seamstress discreetly recorded the entire scene from among the crowd and sent the video straight to Louis' inbox.
Two hours later at Onley Group, Louis sat at his desk, skimming through his emails. The moment he opened the video, his expression darkened. With a flick of his wrist, the ashtray on his desk shattered against the floor.
"Simon!" His voice was sharp with fury. "Has he completely lost his mind?" From the plush leather couch, a woman lazily lifted her gaze.
"So, that was your grand plan?" Her tone dripped with sarcasm. "You thought using that idiot to go after Prosper Stitch Group was a good idea? Honestly, Louis, I didn't think you could be this stupid." "Audrey." Louis' voice carried a warning.

"I was planning to. Ms. Smith has a meeting with the new seamstresses this afternoon, after all." She was the one who had secretly recorded the video. Audrey Carrington was Louis' undercover agent inside Prosper Stitch Group. She joined them under the pretense of being one of the newly recruited seamstresses. Back at the Double-Sided Crochet Department of Prosper Stitch Grip, Audrey walked in with an undeniably seductive air. Even though she had been working here for less than two weeks, she showed up every day in stilettos.
It was clear that she didn't fit in, and the other seamstresses kept their distance.
Not that she cared. After all, she wasn't here to make friends; she was here to spy.
Louis planted her in Prosper Stitch Group to dig up information. What new products were they launching? Where were they exporting? Who were their business partners? Every detail mattered.
But after more than half a month, she had learned nothing.
Each department only focused on its assigned crocheting tasks, and no one knew the big picture. And that so- called carefree crochet supervisor, Yvonne, was way more tight-lipped than she looked.
One of the seamstresses turned to Audrey. "What did you specialize in before?" "Artisan crochet," Audrey answered honestly.
"Then why switch to double-sided crochet?" Her response was effortless. "For more money." While crocheting was just a job for the others, Audrey's work looked like she was painting a masterpiece. It was annoying to the other seamstresses, leading them ostracize her. Who the hell did she think she was, acting all high and mighty? One of the older seamstresses, clearly irritated, muttered under her breath, "This is a workplace, not a beauty pageant. Speople should stop flaunting themselves like cheap floozies." Audrey didn't even look up from her crocheting. "Speople are just too old to pull it off anymore. That's not my fault." "You!" The older woman saw red and kicked over Audrey's crochet piece!
But Audrey wasn't the type to take shit from anyone. She immediately lunged forward grabbing at the woman's hair. The fight was on. She had been itching to take out her frustrations on someone. Audrey's years at Onley Group had

And now, after Onley Group finally moved their headquarters back to Cruznia, she was forced to go undercover like ssecond-rate spy. Was this ssort of corporate espionage thriller? The more she thought about it, the angrier she got.
In one swift move, she ripped off the old woman's floral hairpin.
"Who do you think you are, the madam of a brothel? You're always wearing that tacky pink flower pin on your hair? You look disgusting!" Her sharp tongue was a product of years of survival against cutthroat women overseas. She knew exactly how to hit where it hurt.
Just as Janice finished escorting Edward's relatives out, she arrived at the Double-Sided Crochet: Department, Cor CO Department, only to see two women going at it. The pure chaos of the fight made her pause for a second.
Audrey's speed and combat skills were surprisingly impressive.
