A governing god from the underworld attacked Humphrey

The Soul-summoning Flag contained hundreds of millions of creatures’ spiritual souls. It had acquired this power after a long time.

It was one of the most powerful magic treasures in the Sea of Chaos.

No governing god dared fight the Soul-summoning Flag head on.

But it was no match for Humphrey,

who smashed the flag in one strike.

The impact threw the governing god of the underworld into the distance,

his blood creating a gory fountain in the air.

Humphrey was way too powerful. His every move was potent enough that most ordinary governing gods couldn't resist it.

"Attention, guys! We need to simultaneously attack different parts of his body.

Don't give him any chance to hit us,"

a governing god of the beast race shouted.

The twenty-one governing gods changed tack and gathered together.

Then,

they launched a simultaneous joint attack on Humphrey.

The twenty-one governing gods worked together and unleashed a huge energy light column that then swept rapidly through the

void towards Humphrey.

This joint attack was terrifying.

It instantly turned everything on its way into nothingness.

The energy column's destructive aura spread in all directions, and before anyone could react, it had covered most of the Sea of

Chaos.

Austin stood at a distance, but he still felt the great pressure. He stepped back to avoid getting hit by the column.

"Aargh!"

A few creatures that had been hiding in the distant void to watch the epic battle, let out screams of pain.

Hit by the aura of the joint attack,

a few relatively weak divine gods died on the spot, their spiritual souls shattering to pieces.

One could only imagine how lethal the governing gods’ joint strike was.

Humphrey sensed the oncoming danger.

With a growl, the shadow of a giant beast dashed out of his body.

It merged with him, producing a massive, scary-looking beast.

The beast had an incredibly huge body that filled the void for tens of millions of miles in the distance. It had sharp claws and a big

mouth.

It released a formidable force that spread out in waves,

causing its blood to emerge from its skin and forming a layer of mist on the surface of its body.

"Is this the chaotic sky-devouring beast? It lives up to its reputation!"

Austin said, shaken up at the vision of its strength.

The giant beast continued to roar.

It gave off an evil aura, blood-colored runes that released its terrifying energy appearing out of thin air.

The giant beast stretched out its claws,

hitting the energy column that the twenty-one governing gods had produced.

An overwhelming energy flowed noisily within its body, causing the beast to becunstoppable.

The giant beast didn't budge even after taking the blow.

It remained still.

"Ha-ha! Is that all you've got? | expected more power!"

the giant beast said derisively with Humphrey's voice.

"Now it's my turn to strike," it continued.

Its powerful voice rumbled, causing the sky to tremble.

Saying this,

the beast ran forward.

Its four hooves trampled the void, causing it to shake violently.

"Move! This is the chaotic sky-devouring beast. It has infinite power!"

a governing god from the beast race reminded his companions, panicking.

The beast was covered in silver scales that functioned as its armor.

These scales seemed to be made of chaotic iron.

The air around it twisted into a huge hurricane.

Streaks of blood-colored lightning flashed on the surface of its body.

Five governing gods who couldn't avoid its onslaught, were hit by the massive beast.

They were thrown a distance, their arms or legs or both breaking in the process. They sustained severe injuries.

"Now you know how powerful | am!

You should consider it an honor to be my slaves!"

Humphrey's arrogant voice rang out.

He was obviously satisfied with what was happening.

'The chaotic sky-devouring beast lives up to its reputation! Its body is hard and it isn't lettingdown!

I'll defeat these governing gods by solely relying on its physical strength,’ he thought to himself.

The giant beast was aggressive and ferocious as it continued to attack the other governing gods. Its eyes glinted murderously.

No governing god could resist its attacks.

It lashed out its tail, sending a superior elder of the Court crashing in the opposite direction.

It then stretched out a claw, hitting a governing god of the underworld in the process.

Half of his body exploded, his blood spurting into the sky.

The giant beast then dashed towards a black palace that a governing god of the Divine Corpse Palace had thrown at it, and it

shattered into pieces.

It wasn't long before the beast hit the governing god in the chest, its incredible force pushing him to the ground and beating him

into a pulp.

The giant beast then turned its attention on the other governing gods, launching attacks on them.

Before long, the beast had defeated almost all the governing gods.

Every governing god was injured except for the huge face from the World of Darkness.

The battle was horrible. The blood of the governing gods converged into rivers. Smoke billowed through the space.

Body parts were scattered everywhere.

"Aaaaargh!"

The twenty-one governing gods groaned in misery and anger.

This was all too much for them to take.

They had ruled the Sea of Chaos for a long, long time.

Each of them was an important being of their own race. They were legendary figures in the Sea of Chaos, and their feats had

passed down from generation to generation in their races.

These governing gods were practically in charge of the Sea of Chaos.

No living being dared disrespect or defy them. Everyone was in awe of them, and never had the nerve to speak ill of them.

But they had now lost to Humphrey.

They defeated so miserably

that they couldn't even defend themselves.

This was a serious insult.

"Humphrey is capable of ruling the Sea of Chaos!"

Austin sighed from the distance.

"But no matter what, | won't let you rule the Sea of Chaos, Humphrey!

Even if you defeat these governing gods, you still have to get past me!"

Humphrey's display of power had caused Austin to becmore eager to fight him. Austin's gaze followed the chaotic sky-

devouring beast that Humphrey had transformed, determination glinting in his eyes.
